LYRICS:
To leave from this tale follow closely ahead
Prepare to exist by the living & dead
Too slow or too kind or too wary of those too at ease
Past all the buried impressions of then
Sullen drawn eyes and expressions to mend
Continued through mirrors left broken to sing and be heard
Through when it seems all the senses are lost to absurd
So the part where we are
Trapped in active depart
In the fate of the stars
No not one who we are
No control pumping heart
Button pressed mind in art
Mind control
Mind restart
To leave from the present with no source of sound
They laugh because silence is never around
Ignored and forgotten the past may continue to breathe
Feared not a rest by this desolate friend
Whose patience revealed what intent comes to send
With a stare at a hole in the world comes a lust to be high
Above all the dark nested clouds that keep guard of the sky
So the part where we are
Trapped in active depart
In the fate of the stars
No not one who we are
No control pumping heart
Button pressed mind in art
Mind control
Mind restart
Step onto the ferris wheel
Round for day & night
Lost in what's forever more
Complacent in its reasons for
Give & Take &
Sleep & Wake &
Pray for Day & Night to come
Again we see there's certainty in
What we feel and what we've heard
Again we see there's certainty in
Expectations all the same

You know you're in for some serious shit when the artist is tally hall and the length is longer than 5 minutes
This song makes me feel bittersweet. It's so good, but it's so sad. It sounds exactly like a true ending, and knowing that Tally Hall may not come back for a while, it's pretty sad too. Then again, they're all moving on with their lives, so let's just be happy for them.

@@LynchtheFinch Ok
it’s also the last song they ever made
@@Kooooooooooooooooooooooooooooa It's fitting.
I doubt they'll ever get together again

if I were them I would want to make one last thing like a final signature at the end of a page but that doesn't seem possible
i love that piano transition from the chaos to andrew’s section
If you're talking about 3:20, well this might ruin it for ya, but I can 100% hear a transition into Dr Dre - Still Dre

If tally hall ever did one more live performance before they completely confirm they are officialy done with Tally Hall, i'd want this to be the last one.
The one they've never done live before.
And the true fate of the stars.

as unfavorable as the current Tally Hall situation is, at the very least, they were spared the fate of getting picked up by a bigger label and turned into a Stadium Rock band
@residentsimon9 yeah :(
I guess you could say that they were spared the Fate Of The Stars?
@andistansbury4366 heheha!
So far one of the best tally hall songs, i love it so much!
Holy shit this is a masterpiece
Wow I was just looking for this and it was uploaded yesterday
This is my favorite Tally Hall piece.
I always had this thought that this song might have been the original concept for Dream Sweet in Sea Major(which I see as the real last Tally hall based song as everyone was in the album at least once.(Andrew is credited in Murders so shush)) not only because of its length being nearly 7 minutes long and that is an important feature for DSiSM but its vibe and its tone are very close to DSiSM’s, but is definitely different enough that it’s clear it wouldn’t hit the same way you know? So I believe it was reworked to fit the tone and style of Good & Evil.
The more you look into it the more similarities I see and it’s crazy.
Wait what did Andrew do in murders?
That actually makes sense. They both have that feeling of drifting, weather in the sea, or space, or heaven, or somewhere else.
@@Sir720x2 Probably the piano, remember he's the keyboardist of the group (before the indefinite hiatus.)
Edit: I don't know what he's on but I did some research on "Murders" and Andrew Horowitz is not in the credits. The person who did the piano was Bora.
