Definitely another to add to my growing list of canning needs. I really need a steam canner. That thing is awesome! Thanks for sharing and making it look so easy.
Taco sauce is one thing I think needs to be on my canning list for sure. I didn’t realize how easy it was to do until I watched your video. Thank you so much for presenting this wonderful recipe and video.
Your taco sauce looks so good! And you are so right about canning this time of year, before we get inundated with garden vegetables. I will be trying this soon, and I thank you for your video and for participating in this collaboration. Thanks to you and Jeni for planning this collaboration!
I’ve made salsa from my own tomatos but have not made taco sauce before. I don’t use corn syrup or sugar as I am diabetic. I wonder if there is a safe non sugar canning sweetener to use in this recipe? I don’t use Splenda either. Thank you for your post.
Thanks for this really nice recipe. I've seen the enchilada sauce videos done, but don't think I ran across a taco sauce video. This was nice to see to have something different. Thanks very much for having this as part of the collaboration.
Thank you, again, for teaming up with Jenny to bring this collab together. Winter canning is just what I need to get through the long, cold days. Blessings from Minnesota!
Thank for this demo. Taco sauce is something I never thought of canning myself because we use so little of it. But it looks so easy and I probably would only have to do one batch a year.
Thank you so much. I am learning so much from your videos. I have to check out the new Steam Canner for our loquat and mango tree harvest, again thank you so much.
This looks so good. It's always nice to have extra sauce on hand for game days and parties. I got a steamer the last summer. It's a game changer. Not as much worry about spilling and burning myself because things are too heavy. Thank you!!!
I’ve thought about doing this recipe, but I wasn’t sure if it would taste good. I love a good taco sauce. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed weekend!
Who doesn't love Taco Sauce. I'm gonna have to try this recipe. Hopefully my picky husband will like it. He doesn't care for the store bought ones. Thanks
Ive looked at this recipe in the Ball book but havent made it. I wasnt sure i wanted to until i watched your video. Definitely going to be adding this to my pantry.
My family are Taco nuts and will not consider a Taco Tuesday complete without their beloved taco sauce. I'm tired of the rising costs of these little jars and will immediately get to work on trying this recipe out. This is a great plan to can. Thanks for participating
Love my steam canner! My stove is awful and can’t come to a boil with waterbath canner-heat/ weight. On days I’m not able to can outside-steam canning has been a real benefit! I’ve been wondering about this taco sauce recipe🤔. I’ve been working towards making homemade/canning as I’m replacing store bought-chemical yucky things and currently condiments are on my to do list! Loving this collab! Thanks for hosting with @jenigough and thanks for sharing this recipe canning process!
My husband loves the smooth taco sauce. I'm more of a chunky salsa kind of person lol. He watched the video with me and asked if I would make it for him... Of course I said yes!
I am used to very smooth store bought sauce. Perhaps a stick blender or food processor would help with that? Steam canners seem so much better. I never liked putting water over a non sealed lid! Looks like a nice easy ro make project. Thank you.
Yes I’m sure you could do that it’s a great idea , I might do that next time , it will be a while because one batch lasts a while ! Lol thank you for watching!
I’d do some research on that , but I’d think maple syrup might be a good substitute but not sure honestly , maple syrup can be canned Thank you for watching!
I ise Taco Bell fire sauce. Id love to know how this sauce compares in taste to store bought. I'll have to plan to make some. Many Blessings from Deborah in West Virginia!
I just received my steam canner I am excited to can some mild taco sauce. Quick question... Can I can my Loquats in the steamer as well I looked in the USDA book and couldn't find my solution? Thank you so much I am learning so much
@@TheMillerLifeKitchen Oh ok thank you so very much, I will do more research. I am so looking forward trying out my new steam canner, hopefully I can make some jelly with my Loquat fruit.
Just wanted to give you a quick update I made 4 pints of Loquat jam and while my steam canner was still hot I thought I try your taco sauce... It too came out amazing. Thank you so much
@@TheMillerLifeKitchen oh thank you, a Loquat is like an apricot and a plum had a baby with plum skin, the taste is mildly sweet-sour and delicious, very refreshing.
I had to get a stainless steel steam canner. My well water had too many minerals in it and it ate pinholes in the base. I emailed pics into the manufacture and that's what they told me. Aluminum won't stand up to my water.
I have tomatoes in my freezer I’m not sure what to do with since I wasn’t able to get near as many as I wanted - bad year for tomatoes here. Taco sauce will be perfect if I have enough.
Another great thing to have on our pantry shelves. Thanks for showing us how you make yours. God bless.
Thank you for showing this recipe. I will definitely be adding this to my canning list. Thank you again

Taco sauce, oh yeah 😎 I'm having taco salad right now. Just think how tasty taco sauce would be on taco salad.
It’s amazing and on eggs too 😊 thank you for watching!

Lol ! Thank you for watching!

I know Nothing about canning foods, I wish I would of watched my mom but I was 17 and dating, my loss and a huge regret.
Never too late to start , I did not grow up canning , I found it as an adult !
