1 in 25 boys are born with an undescended testicle, which can lead to testicular cancer and fertility issues later in life if left untreated.
A mum shares her advice for parents of children who need the operation.
In most cases, no treatment is necessary, as the testicles will usually move naturally from the abdomen to the scrotum naturally during the first three to six months of life.
However, around one in 100 boys stay ascended and an operation is advised.
We’re first time parents and our baby boy will be having this surgery in a couple of months. His undescended testicle is still alive, so they will be bringing it down to its home. I was really nervous and scared for the surgery, but seeing this video made me less worried. Wish us luck!!!
Hey wat is ur son's age
Hi Meli! How did they find out that the testicle was still alive? May baby will be going through this surgery but they did not do any further tests to check for the undescended testicle.. They just did the physical exam, just felt it and it wasn't there so they suggested for him to get the surgery.
What does an undescended testicle look like?
Thanks for the info
Thank u .this is help me
Thanks to this video. I was able to do this for my son
Hi ma, am where is the place u had for your kid?
My mum apparently missed loads of appointments in 96. I found out when I was 18 it wasn't meant to be in my groin. Had 2 operations cos first time it apparently shot straight back up. Second time I woke up and they had removed it and put an implant there.
I'm 17 and want to get it fixed but dont know how to really approach my parents about it. How did you end up?
When your 15 and you know you are going to be having this soon but I’ve left it for over 7 years
Have you had it yet I’m about to have it and I’m scared?
You can do it , but in some cases your testorane power may be go slow down .
How so? I've read articles that suggest the opposite
My son having this issues he is 1year old. Child doctor recommended a surgery. It is only option to correct this? Anyone done surgery for 1year baby..

To all the boys they have the same issue you should tell your parents immediately
Parents should notice it thou. I notice about my kid few days after he was born. They doctored should have told u too thou
@shamelcutkelvin3275 they should usually check after their first check up. its common, about 1 in 20 supposedly
Hello, my son is 1 year old, his left testie surgery done on 3 days before & today some drops of bliding started, doctor call not picking, please suggest what to do.
How is your son now?
So I had this as a child, told my parents about it when I realised something was odd when I grew up and nothing was done, went to the docs and had it removed as it didn't grow at all, it was grape size and spent more time up in my body than where it should normally be, op was fine but should've been done when I was a baby really, so yeah parents out there i'd suggest having it done as a child to avoid them doing it years later, saves the hassle, had mine done at 19 I think and that was 6-7 years ago.
I have surgery in 7 days i am so nerves I am 12 do you think it Will be ok pls respond
@@thegamingfrog9842 it’s a very quick operation, no pain at all afterwards, it’ll be fine

I gave birth to a baby boy with this condition. He is now 1 month old and praying for his testicle to come down itself. If not I'm preparing myself for his surgery. 🥺😭 I'm watching videos or doing some research about it to prepare myself and to understand more about it.
Any updates 😢

Same in 15 and I’m having it soon so I’m doing research to see what they do and it doesn’t look nice 😐
Men having this condition can still produce children successfully.
Don’t be shy it’s serious
I have this condition 😑
But I am 17 should I do the surgery ...I have the same issue?
Check with your doctor do a ultra sound and blood test first then from there you will be guided by your doctor if your over weight you need to lose weight before the operation it would be guided by the doctor as well.
Don't worry as all undescended testicle doesn't bring cancer only some have it you need to be confident and be healthy by doing exercises and eat healthy food more importantly don't masturbate alot.

Before you jump do operations first drink ginger tea for 3 weeks and see if it will not go down to its position. Boiling raw ginger roots and drink it wait for a results
