I didn't know they'd come up, but I'm also not surprised they did. I agree, the likelihood of them actually coming back, and offering anything of substance to ME is slim to none. This person had a VERY specific idea of the "type" of person they wanted to be committed with, and I don't match this, at all. I differ from their usual type, and that didn't feel exciting nor joyful for them. In fact I think it was a huge blow to their ego. Group 2 so accurate. I have a big soft spot for him, like I don’t want to like him so much but he impresses me and surprises me sooo much. I never expect to have so much fun with him and every time we’re together it’s like no one else in the world matters. our first date was at the beach. I believe he pursued me with good intentions but his work and home situation is very chaotic so I’m definitely not his top priority. It’s so disappointing how our circumstances are keeping us apart because the chemistry is so good but being apart is keeping the connection stagnant. Sometimes he goes out of his way to give me the attention I need and other times he’s just so busy that days might pass without us having a proper conversation and during those times my insecurities mess me up so much. I’ve now adapted the very traditional mindset that a man should be able to afford to court a woman, if he cannot afford it then he is not in a position to be in a rship. I don’t want a rship that starts with struggles. I want to be romanced and pampered and taken care of and until I get that from him I refuse to force myself to stay by his side and deal with all that negativity while he just feeds me crumbs. I never expect to have so much fun with him and every time we’re together it’s like no one else in the world matters. our first date was at the beach. I believe he pursued me with good intentions but his work and home situation is very chaotic so I’m definitely not his top priority. I literally have been coaching myself and telling myself that his problems are not my problems and I have been consciously making the effort to not overextend myself to prove my loyalty, which is something I’ve done way too much in past rships. I’ve now adapted the very traditional mindset that a man should be able to afford to court a woman, if he cannot afford it then he is not in a position to be in a rship. I don’t want a rship that starts with struggles. I want to be romanced and pampered and taken care of and until I get that from him I refuse to force myself to stay by his side and deal with all that negativity while he just feeds me crumbs. Group 3 and so extremely accurate! He is a Virgo. Says a lot, but rarely follows through. I'm always saying in my head that actions & effort speak louder than words. I get frustrated with this, but blame myself to a point, because I am very nurturing and giving right from the get go. Knowing full well I need to teach others how to treat & love me and they should have to earn the best version of me. So they always end up taking and not really giving anything in return or reciprocating. I do not know how not to just be myself and hold back the love or nurturing. The only thing that wasn't accurate was he is actually younger and I am older, but it was correct that he is very much so a hermit and homebody and rarely wants to be in group or social situations anymore and although I'm introverted, I still like to get out and do things quite often, so this is a barrier between us to a degree.
