Sir, in the definition of family, point no.(iii) u have mentioned parents and/or step father, and/or step mother wholly dependant and residing with the employee for LTC . But the term for parents, " residing with the employee" has been dispensed w.e.f. 1/9/2008. This means it is not compulsory for parents to stay with the employee.
Usually LTC permission application is submitted before proceeding on leave and permission obtained accordingly. Our HOO has observed that LTC permission be obtained from competent authority before proceeding of leave. Cases for obtaining permission from competent authority where process after proceeding on leave as per application submitted before proceeding on leave but HOO has observed that same cannot be considered as individual procceed on leave, which it seems not in order. As there is no change of declared place of visit and official has submitted application before proceeding on leave. Whether decision of the HOO is in order.
As per latest LTC guidelines whether the actual fare of journey performed from Portblair to havelock on private ship in case of non availability of tickets on govt ship is reimbursable or it can be restricted to the fare of govt ship ?

Sir, can you please tell us if everything has been decided then why a LTC Fare list has been issued by Air India from April 23 to Feb, 24. Kya hume is list ko bhi alag se follow karna padega. Please update at the earliest

And the dies-non dates are 09.03.2022(treating dies-non because I took leave without informing the office in advance) and 28.03.2022(due to strike)..

Sir I am not eligible for flight..I want to avail ltc to leh..as per rule I will get flight fare from Delhi to leh and back..but is there any fare bar of tickets? LTC 80 fare of Air India is lesser than the actual price showing in IRCTC? Should I get any amount at the time of buying LTC flight ticket from IRCTC?

if you have availed hometown LTC 2020-21 for LTC cash package, then any place in India LTC is not admissible.

Sir- I applied for LTC for block year of 2020-2023 in March2023 but due to shortage of fund it was not sanctioned then. Now in Jan 2024 department has the funds. What amount I shall get ? Basic + DA of March 2023 or Basic +DA of Jan 2024. If there is any rule regarding this please share.
