    why table1,2,0?

    • @iREZARECTEM
      @iREZARECTEM Год назад +6

      Table 1 refers to the list of fruit he created on the right side of the sheet. He turned the list into a table which the software named “Table 1” by default. 2 is answering the question “Which column?” You’re saying I want the data from Table 1 in column 2 (to draw out the corresponding data for RATE).

    • @tylerbird876
      @tylerbird876 Год назад +1

      @@iREZARECTEM what about the "0" that comes after the 2. What does that refer to?

    • @iREZARECTEM
      @iREZARECTEM Год назад +2

      @@tylerbird876, 0 is the attribute the author assigned for the “[range_lookup]”. Enter 0 or FALSE for an exact match.
      Meaning it only pulls up exact matches. 1 or True for Approximate matches (which is not recommended for this example, and you probably won’t have a reason to use approximate matches very often.

      Make your list on a seperate sheet and follow same procedure. I have my list in sheet 2, i was able to add more coloumns as well so now when i select item from dropdown i get price and unit autofilled. Just replace the 2 in Table1,2,0 with whatever coloumn you want. Eg. Table1,3,0 gives me unit

    • @PajamaPants10102
      @PajamaPants10102 Месяц назад

      @@lindsyjeanpalabrica-xc7vl You just have to enter the vlookup in the cell you want on Sheet 2 and select the Table from Sheet 1. *When you start typing the title of your table in the vlookup, it should show up, eg mine is named Table 1*
