I wouldnt read too much into this. They asked very simular questions about all of their IP's. As we know, Frontier are not doing well for money at the moment. This could just be part of working out where their priorities should lay.
Yeah, £30m loss isn’t looking good. I imagine they’re hoping planet zoo for console gets back some of that lost money, but after that, they need to decide if they’re to try a brand new IP or add to the ones they currently have for sure
True, but they already have the majority of assets for planet coaster 2 and have made large advancements thanks to planet zoo. If they want an easy cash grab planet coaster 2 would be an easy win for them. All they have to do is polish things more and expand it.

@@Killcaptain123 really hope we get a new PC. It would most definetly be the easiest option. As you say, all the foundations for a new Planet coaster are already in place. They just need putting together. So it could indeed be the quick cash injection they need. But i also think a new IP in the Planet universe could also generate new hype and bring in new custom.
I'm really looking forward to it. There are so many indications that it really will be Planet Coaster 2. There have been 3 CMS games announced. I could imagine JWE 3 next year. To go with the movie. JWE 2 and Planet Coaster were both announced in June. Plant Zoo was even announced in April. So the next game will actually 100% be shown in one of the next Frontier Unlocked shows. Next month's show is all about Planet Zoo Console anyway. But what are they going to talk about for about 1 hour in the next show? I think especially if you look at the stocks that the announcement is coming very soon :)
When Planet Coaster Two comes out I am looking for these updates. 1. Staff Management- Assigning Ride Operators to rides and have a animation of them doing what they do on roller coasters and then they leave the depot. If they add a Waterpark assign Lifegaurd locations and when lifeguard one gets tired or what ever, Lifeguard B can take over. 2. More animation. Full ride breakdowns, Evacuations, Closed park due to weather, in the settings having the seasonal park option. Ride Operator Animation, Lifeguard Animation (Having lifeguard chairs and assign walking zone for lazy river, assign them to rides). For the Waterpark have lifeguards on top the ride with animation of holding tube for people and then hold tube to let people out on the bottom and then have a lift hill type thing that would bring the tubes to the top of the raft ride. IDK 3. Dual water slides (Like for the water raft rides you can have a covered tube side and a uncovered side and they would share the same bay) 4. During off season you can choose to store coaster cars or even having transfer tracks. 5. It would be nice to see interactive shows added to the game with the entertainers or even creating a set and have a stunt show. 6. Staff paths to break rooms or staff areas. 7. New Music (Like Ragtime for Main Enterance, Banjo type music for country carnivial, Beach Boy sounding music for waterpark, but make all of it Planet Coaster type) 8. Mascots could use some improvement. Maybe general mascots with the ability to customize color, I think having general Cat, Dog, Person type mascots would make more sense than a Cow bouncing on a ball. Character locations as well with an Assistant with them that can take pictures? Their are endless opportunities and things they could add and hopefully they are listening and developing the best they can into the gameplay
I think it’s just a bit outdated now to be honest, the initial game came out 8 years ago and was game-changing (pardon the pun) but new rides and new game mechanics have come out since which makes the game feel likes it not caught up
Aren't you doing just that? There's plenty of evidence out there that it is in development, even supported by a leaked roadmap that so far has been 100% true.
