How do you think instruments were invented? People hit things to make sounds. This is arguably more impressive musical composition, because they aren't using a standardized musical instrument, they are figuring out the proper key and pitch using generally non-musical objects. You've got to know a lot about music to do that.

Two things I really appreciate are first of all, you are so inspiring and you show, that it is possible to make music with nearly everything, it is "just" a matter of creativity, the second one is, that the kids are with you. I am a self-employed musician myself and I am not famous, so I really have a lot of time for my kids and my wife and this is fantastic. Ok, the more time I spend with them the day, the more work I have to do by night, but it is so great to see them grow!

You know what is sad???? This video in an amazing way though! Here is this amazing group who used MAYBE 100 dollars to make this video and had AMAZING music that would make ANYONE smile. And yet here are Grammy winners who spend thousands of dollars if not millions of dollars making videos that aren't even a TENTH of the skill, talent and music these guys have! So YES this video is sad, sad that what should be at the forefront of music industry has to sit in the dark corners of the music world. I hope one day they make it so huge on their own to be names EVERYONE knows of and when they aw approached they show these videos to them and say where were you then and walk away! Sorry just really irks me that they have been passed over for so long when they are better then 3/4 of all the musicians out there! itsamystery1212 you know I thought that as well then I really started looking at their videos in general and noticed a theme with them. they all had that ... back yard campy feel and I think they have tried to stay with that theme even when they are doing the more upscaled videos. So IF that is the case then yes they would seem less perfect in quality which I honestly like. At most 50 bucks they used those sound sticks that cost like 20 bucks and then they used a bunch of household itmes
What's funny to me is that when they do really high budget videos and songs they aren't nearly as good as the low budget home made videos.on the other hand how much do they spend on instruments and are there any instruments that they don't have?
Michelle Bolen well said!! I love every single one of their songs and covers. most of the covers they do I hate the original but they are so good you fall in love with it
itsamystery1212 you know I thought that as well then I really started looking at their videos in general and noticed a theme with them. they all had that ... back yard campy feel and I think they have tried to stay with that theme even when they are doing the more upscaled videos. So IF that is the case then yes they would seem less perfect in quality which I honestly like. You can feel their aesthetic view and idea easily with all their videos where as other ppls videos sometimes you are left scratching your head.

Okay, in general it's amazing done. But, for me, the part 1:44 to 1:54 is a level above normal amazement. That harmony is WOW good.
You guys, your music has made my eyes wet. While I'm not a overall fan of pop music, you guys perform music I'd otherwise never really listen to in such an amazing, unique, talented way that I have to find the originals and listen. (I love/appreciate your versions more 100% of the time) Thanks for all that you do! It's also such a fun game now, trying to seeing where Mike is going to pop up. Never stop Walking!
