I learned this in 1980-85 a farmer likes plenty of rain and sunshine if not to much or to little as long as it comes on days he has chosen.
Hope that you aren’t tired of me repeating it.
    Thank you Sir

I would love to see the Dam you built with the big Volvo you got lent! Cheers.

Chris, any chance of seeing that huge mud bowl pond work came out after you left. As I recall someone else was going to finish the dam and put in a large water fall. There was a huge house being constructed and you and John hauled hundreds of loads of mud soup and created another large mud mesa nearby?? Just curious.

When we built our 10 acre lake there was a 5 inch rain two weeks after we finished it. There was 6 inches left before it was completely full. The depth was 24 feet deep on the dam. We were worried about the dam holding that kind of pressure only two weeks after it was built but she held fine.
Are you going to fence your ponds if you have cattle grazing your fields. We always put a freeze proof tank at the base of the lake dam with a large pad of gravel. You can peek over the dam morning and evening watching the deer licking the mineral blocks and drinking from the tank. We tried a pond windmill to keep the water from freezing but the darned storm winds tear up the windmills.

And if providing us with GREAT VIDEOS, means putting yourself in harm's way, we can and will be just fine without 1.
