stuff like the boot water is the reason I rarely watch this channel. I am pretty much interested in the wedges I clicked in, and always hope to see a bodysurfer on the wave. There is an oral tradition that the actor John Wayne, a not well respected man in that area, broke his collar bone bodysurfing the wedge, which led to him getting into acting. Because the USC football team was bring used as one day movie extra's , and Wayne , because of his injury was no longer with the team, had the time and interest to keep hanging around the studio, and was a singing cowboy in two pictures.
