My fav part was how Dave got Karma for blaming everyone by Amanda outing him for hiding his mess with a Green Screen.
Whenever he pauses the level, an unimaginable amount of stress and anxiety befalls me

A selection would also be handy, either a second button or in that pop-up to restart from checkpoint.

But as with many things, this is contingent on getting enough people to express support for an idea most people aren't even aware of, the proverbial vicious cycle of "Well it's not going to happen so why should I bother sending them feedback". Yes this is a bit of a tangent, sorry
@giin97 absolutely not the second one. While I love the idea of starting from checkpoint, anti-softlocks are great and I'd hate to lose those.

Maybe it would be better to have the game screen slightly zoomed out with a border like I've seen other streamers do. That way you wouldn't have to keep moving your facecam to avoid blocking part of the screen, and people could see all the trolls you fall for!
Smaller game windows on phone screens = lots of details being too hard to see. I watch plenty of videos on my iPhone 6 and my iPhone 8. I frequently watch videos on my phone. I dislike border screens for that reason.
Same as above, i only watch youtube on Phone and stop watching those where the steamer is out of screen

8:45 confused how it could be an unclaimed CP1. At this point he hasn't gotten CP2 yet so the "fake" CP should already have a M flag?

edit also might have to do with on off block switching and probably some wierd entity limit thing
edit 2: he grabs the 2nd checkpoint at the end of the first 2 times he did it
CP2 is at 8:13, when Dave drops down the pit and gets the fire flower.
And at a later point he gets to CP2 again, but because of level editor magic (maybe because he comes in from below?) he gets to it "properly" this time.
something that helps to change the level every time he gets CP1 are the red coins, for whatever reasons you can "change2 certain elements of the level after you get red coins (if you know enough about MM level design), that's probably it more than doing a twice twice

Editor Chris, you do a fantastic job editing Dave's videos. Please do us all ONE favor. When he screams and the speakers start clipping because of the high frequency, please turn down the volume for those parts. I'll be pissed if my center channel speakers tweeter gets blown from him screaming. I watch with the volume set to the point I can barely hear it because of this. 26:02 is a perfect example.

DGR, have you considered getting yourself an overlay to keep your webcam out of the game screen? It may help with you needing to change it around every 2 minutes
that would be a smart idea. i'd also really like it if he would stop using the zoom feature so much.. yea dave, we see the thing that killed you, we just saw it happen. no need to zoom it and explain it
These levels, where you go through the level, then go back to CP1, and everything changes? I need to see one of the creators do a behind-the-scenes making-of video because I need to know how they do that. What is the mechanism that allows things to be different? Because it's the same checkpoint, everything should be reset every time. How can it tell the difference between the first time you go through the checkpoint and the second or third time? I thought it might be the number of red coins, and the various tricks and traps reacting to that somehow, because as far as I know red coins are the only thing that's saved by the checkpoints. But it can't be that since the second and the third time he got CP1 he had exactly 3 red coins. So how in the hell does it work?

They are all pick a path. You fail, die, and learn the solution. I've heard there is a way to randomize troll levels using claws.
I trolled myself a bit while watching this video. When Dave got softlocked at 6:50, I was thinking: "is he gonna say 'SOFTLOCK CITY!'?", only for my audio to cut out. I thought I just pressed mute, so I turned the volume up to max, only to realize that what actually happened was my headphones disconnected, so then everyone got startled by a very loud "SOFTLOCK CITY!".
