Thanks for sharing this. Like you (or maybe a bit earlier) I am saying goodbye to my 20s this year. "Chasing the next high" really resonates with me. I am continuously looking for it. I was also looking for romantic love for the longest time, now that I have found it, I still feel myself looking for the next high (in my mind now this is children, but I also know this won't "fix" me). Sometimes, in moments of clarity, I realise that the "meaning of life" is meaningful connections. This is what I feel you've also found.
