Tomb King Expended is a compatibility nightmare, they should release a usable light version. They edit and overwrite vanilla tables instead of creating new ones. It's a shame because it's a great mod. (I'm wrong check comment below)
In the words of Necrotects everywhere "I IGNORE THE CRITICS" 😜 Though I will note, we do explicitly not edit vanilla _dat tables so the comment is incorrect. *Overwrite* a number of vanilla entries (which is what everyone does) yes, but we do not edit vanilla tables themselves in the mod - that is extremely poor modding practice.
@@CharliKou I will give you that, and I will edit my comment, I did not look at the dbs! I was mainly referring to the rebalance part. It is one of the best mods tho , I just wish for a light version.
@@barneysoldierson54 Good stuff. I actually did a light version in WH2 as I had a number of people asking for it - but in the end it only had around 200 subscribers vs the 35K for the main WH2 mod. It turned out to be a very vocal minority - but at least it made them happy 😊
@@CharliKou make sense, i thought most people would want the light version so it would be more compatible, but this means they don't :( thanks for the replies
Love it, hope to see them adding Ancient Tyranids to Old World as underground faction, Tomb Kings vs Tyranids - their battle would be legendary "Biomass? Bones Only!" - but even more so Tyranids vs Skaven.... in tunnels.
@@jhealey4826 He means the Tregara in one of the Gotrek & Felix books, there's basically nothing on them apart from that they used to have a big ol ancient civilization & weren't dumb beast at some point, and they are feared by the Skaven. They are less like Warhammer 40k Tyranids, and more like World of Warcraft's bug races like the Nerubians, and Silithids.
Give em a try! Alot of these units you wont get until turn 150+ as you cant unlock them by just the buildings, you also need the corresponding research and the high tier units only have a limited number of buildings to acquire them. It ends up being very balanced and brings the tomb kings up to date. As for legendary+ besides increasing the end game difficulty you can also increase the ai stats via the modifier
Why would many people l want cult of Ulric for the Empire? Same idea with that, Scarab in general is one of the most popular symbols of Egyptian (or TK in this case) culture, so it makes sense why we would love to have a giant scarab in the game.
Thanks for the coverage of the TK:E mod, been very enjoyable to watch some of the live streams the last few weeks.
Thanks for making one of the best mods out there! And glad you came by stream!

Tyranids in fantasy? What am I missing?

Holy crap! This is amazing! I’m normally not into Warhammer total war mods, but this might just be what gets me to start using them!
I was the same way! Once you start using mods you cant go back to just vanilla lol
sick
It's probably one of my least played factions, but now im going to have to check them out!
Give them ol bones a go!
Nagash is pleased
This is amazing thanks 🎉
1:00-1:09 What is that mod with the two leaders of this Norscan raid?
Also, what campaign are you doing next?
I don’t know it off the top of my head! Once im at my pc I can tell you. Prob gonna be playing gelt on dlc release
"Men of the North" if I'm not mistaken. Awesome mod.
Darkwolf was close! Its SCM tribes of the north
Epic mod showcase, time to dust off my sceptre and chariot...
Also, I see a lot of animations benefited from Shadows of Change.
I wish you kept covering mods man
I am lol
Now I am curious if someone made a mod based on Frasier's Mummy.
Whenever I play tomb kings thats what I think of lol
No doubt that these will eventually be added officially.
Maybe someday!
these all look ridiculously OP. It’s too bad there’s not a “Legendary+” difficulty setting…

@@mecha0turtle oh cool. thanks! that matches up good to an end game crisis set to max difficulty
How long until CA decides to steal this for an actual DLC?
i alread have all mods kkkk, nice video
Please mods wood elves
Soon!
Gotta say for the mod tomb kings extended the units and creatures look very janky
What's so special about these scarab things
What do you have against bugs?!

@@minoadlawan4583 there’s actually a few different kinds of scarabs in this, theyre deff better than the carrions tho
