  • Chat GPT is a fantastic web application / AI that gives you a text prompt to input any question imaginable and receive an answer from artificial intelligence. In this video, I show you all the amazing answers it gave me when I asked it a mushroom-related question. Hope you enjoy it!

Very nice video on a fascinating technology.
I have used that myself a couple of times for mushrooms questions too, and it does a pretty great job also to translate the latin name into multiple languages simply, even in column format.
I assume you can also input him a couple of mushrooms and ask him best sub / conditions for each too.
Of course it always need validating / confirming the info as it sometimes invents stuff, but overall it's quite incredible.

Hi , I would like to know the costs of the grow bags, and if they are consistent in terms of cost, and if it would be better to import them

@@mountainviewmushrooms71 I am located in Africa, precisely in Algeria, and we do not have any bag manufacturers here,
So is there any alternative to that, like making your own bags?

@@samyibk9111 there are many methods of making a bag for spawn and substrate. It is not a requirement that you use a bag at all and many people use a glass jar or a plastic bucket. Metal containers are not recommended because mycelium can eat metals and metal coating like Teflon. The purpose of the bag is to hold the material in a sterile vessel and maintain the humidity. Usually a 0.2m filter is installed on the bag to allow oxygen exchange. The bags can be sterilized and heated by steam without damage. Whatever container you choose needs to be sterilizable, allow oxygen to enter and carbon dioxide to escape, and trap humidity. Best of luck!
