I did it with a Real shaman from Colombia. Helped me with so much. We had weeks of group therapy integration afterwards as part of the sacred ritual. You can't just think drinking the medicine alone will cure what ails you, th. It's work to grow as a spiritual person.

@@alexflettmusic yeah I know what you mean. I wasn’t talking specifically about ayahuasca though. It just seems like everyone is trying to find something to fix themselves, whether it be ayahuasca, exercise, traveling, etc. It’s strange, it seems a new thing, previous generations seemed much more satisfied with life.

@nonyabusiness2638 definitely true, I agree. Especially in the so-called first world, especially with the rise of social media and such things. Meanwhile, the outside world feels Grey and dull and all there is to do outside is either make money or spend money. It is as though there is a rift in the cosmos itself. Even people who supposedly have it all, and are in fact grateful for what they have, are still being eating by this cancerous depression. Considering how forgone most of us are from the global heritage of our ancestors once living in harmony with nature, we don't know how to feel fulfilled.
We are instead only taught how to consume. Sick? Buy an advil. Hungry? Buy a burger. Starting a family? Buy a home. Feeling a deeply spiritually unsatisfied depression? Buy a 7 day ayahuasca retreat.
Unfortunately this is all some of us have been taught. I can only hope to protect my candle of hope that people will remember their roots, and realize that we are much more than external things we consume.

Ayahuasca is definitely over rated by the dotting sheep.
I would offer instead that hallucinogens may be a means of interstellar communication w/ other intelligent life… as “far out” as that seems, npi ✨

Ayahuasca tourism is a gimmick, though the ceremony should always and only be done with a shaman as it other wise compels people to breath water if they do it recreationally and we all know how that turns out 🫧
