Reece Betsy and the crew put on the VENCE cow virtual fence collars on the forest service cows. They have to start getting used to them before they go on our forest permit. Then Reece and Cooper are moving cows out to spring pastures. The kids help Reece clean the horse trailer.

Man I remember cleaning trailers back a long time ago. Double decker pot bellies like your semi trailer. My “side job” for a trucking company when I wasn’t feeding cattle or hogs, grinding/mixing feed, shelling corn, baling hay, etc. After living in the city for a long time I actually really miss those days. After a good long day you felt like you accomplished something.

How many acres can you make a pasture with the collars?

It’s unlimited. The pastures can be any size, it is set by gps and then controlled by the range of your towers.

Are they sorta a break away in case of getting caught anywhere 🤔

Yes the plastic links at the top are designed to break, or the bottom collar links seem to be a weak point also. We lost 7 collars last year, but those were mostly from the zip ties being a poor design.

@circlepenterprises thanks on your next video. Do you plan on showing the computer program you use to set up the program.

I will show some of it in a future video. If you look at our videos from last spring it shows how it works.
