@@Crusaydr Cool! The learning curve is both steep and easily adaptable based on how quickly you want to reach a certain level of production. The really nice thing is how easily you discover new things with each project; honestly, I kind of miss that feeling. Yeah I produced few songs in few games and couple of movie trailers :) Plus other projects which are still under NDA. I usually produce for myself and my community, this is why I often make surveys on "what to do next" etc.

Hey man!! Thanks so much for asking! In this particular case yeah, I had to listen multiple times very short pieces of the music. I already new it would have been tough so I prepared the project with the trailer mp3 file already imported and at sync with the project itself (same bpm). Then it was all a matter of trying to hear the notes under the voices and fxs, which was the real challenge here. The music was so low in volume while they were talking (and they talk a LOT). In the meantime I was picking up the best music sections (avoiding to make a 7 mins long track, I usually stay on the 3-4 minutes range) creating similar sounds to the original one :) and remain focused to go as BIG as possible in the metal section. It’s like my signature among all of my tracks. Edit: also you’d be surprised on how me and its composer are similar, style wise. He’s a brilliant writer tho, that piano score is something else.

I could use HIS actual voice recording with the stem creator but then I couldn't upload it on the stores and that would be a huge loss for my spotify page which needs to be constantly fed for the algorithm. So I'd rather prefer invest my time to create powerful instrumental where I try to compensate the lack of voice with other instruments (orchestras and guitars, mainly 😂)
It's very likely imo. The song at the very beginning of the first game was simply magical, and EVERYONE who played felt the magic, and spoke about it, so I suppose that is part of the art direction of the IP itself. I hope so!

Hi Adam, this recomposed soundtrack is excellent. I have been hearing it every day for the last month. Could I use it as background music for an educational video? It is for the annual Fluid Conference of the American Physical Society (APS).
Nice pick! This is a digital synth from Serum (a music production software) I bought on Splice, and it really is a good one. It's a very complex and well made synth where if you turn some particular knobs, the sound changes quite radically. (plus a good amount of personal production effects) Consider that is the SAME synth that you hear at 3:58, where is pretty warm and soft while fading out towards the final "boom".

To produce music I use FL studio, plus maany other libraries and plugins; east west for the piano and orchestras, serum for synths and my very real 8 string guitar + kemper for the guitars. Then there's the mixing part of the production, where I use few Izotope softwares, reverbs and so on. The list is quite long haha

To produce music I use FL studio, plus maany other libraries and plugins; east west for the piano and orchestras, serum for synths and my very real 8 string guitar + kemper for the guitars.
Then there's the mixing part of the production, where I use few Izotope softwares, reverbs and so on. The list is quite long haha
