Bakers definitely deserving of a spot. Has taken 2 different teams and won playoff games while playing at an elite level
@@slimvickins5059 Baker deserves respect, and he totally deserves to be in the playoffs and the long term quarterback for the Buccaneers. I knew the Bucs would beat the Eagles because the Eagles were frauds and Jalen Hurts is the most overrated quarterback in the NFL. But Baker is not in the same class as Allen, Mahomes, and Jackson, and he shouldn't be on the list above Purdy and Stroud.
@@44excalibur Baker has one of the best arms in the league and has led 2 different teams to impressive playoff wins while playing at a high level. Lamar has been absolutely horrible and a playoff choker. Is it because of the team he plays for? Ravens are dangerous. Yes.

You're right that he's 1-3 in the playoffs and still has to prove that he can make it past the Divisional Round. Baker has to prove the same thing, since he's only made it to the Divisional Round once, back in 2020.

keep ignoring Purdy, please. Always best to be the hunter, than the hunted. Mayfield and Goff are for sure below Purdy, and yes purely speaking QB position, Lamar, Patrick, Josh, CJ and Jordan are def the top 5.
They reckon to see another 49er QB hold another Lombardi trophy. That would be their worst nightmare. They will never give Purdy his credit until he wins it all.
Jordan had a great game against the biggest fraud team I've seen in years. I think people need to pump the brakes with him. All of these Love should scare the 49ers defense takes can look really dumb in a few days.
Dan says this list is the scariest QBs, but it's also about the matchups, which is weird. I guess Baker and Goff are scary for the defenses playing them this week but Love and Stroud are facing much tougher defenses as well and I don't think the Ravens and 49ers are scared of these two QBs. That doesn't mean they don't respect them and that they're assuming it will be easy. There are very few QBs that should actually scare a defense and that's really the top three on this list, because you can play perfect defense against Lamar, Mahomes and Allen, and they'll still destroy you.
They haven't even mentioned Purdy in that segment. I guess they don't find a QB with the best yards per attempt in decades scary, but to the Packers defense he should be. They gave up 30 points to the Panthers three weeks ago. Purdy will slice them up, and get no credit for it.
Purdy is the Bay Area's new baby face assassin. Just like Steph. People underestimate his importance and what he does because of how he looks. Not as tall, not as strong, looks like a kid, with high accuracy and unfazed by defenders going at him. Just like Steph, they might acknowledge that if he wins a few championships.

Purdy hasn’t played a single bad possession, let alone game in the playoffs/a game that decides seeding in his career but sure Jordan Love and Baker Mayfield are somehow scarier. Sure the 49ers could lose but man does Brock not instill some sort of fear from non players? The actual coaches and corners/safeties know how good he is but people like Dan who sucked their entire career want to hate on him for being exactly what the Lions thought they got with Dan😂
If Purdy wasn’t the last pick of the draft and was a top-10 pick coming out of college they would be calling him the next Tom Brady. These networks and sports outlets only want certain players and faces to be talked about. Plus him being a 49er doesn't help his case. Think about how great Steve Young was and look how much they don't talk about him as one of the greatest QBs. Not even Top 10. They don't want to see another 49ers great at QB.
It's because CMC is the scariest person on that offense in SF, and that's by a massive margin. That's why Purdy wasn't considered for the list. Every one of those 5 on the list make the offense work. I respect Purdy's game and he's a top 5 guy in the league, but in terms of scariness everyone knows what to expect out of him. You know what to expect of the 5, and that's to be prepared for anything and everything. This is why you never have a career in sports, because you're trying to reach for something that just requires the understanding of the word "scariest". Purdy is great, but he's not scary.

Im going to break this all down for you from a fan of the 49ers and for all those that are talking about Purdy.
1. The reason why this is called the scariest QBs remaining is because these guys in my opinion have more Athletic Talent. Maybe in the case of baker its debateable but that is what it is.
2. Purdy will get knocked for 2 reasons, cant play from behind very well and has tremendous talent around him. He has to prove that he can do at least 1 of those things because the players arent going any where soon. But for me Lamar and Allen have a lot to prove as well. Lamar has to win this chip and Allen just has to keep protecting the ball better.
3. People will discredit Purdy for 3 bad games in a row, and also the ravens which he played poorly but when i look back at all of these QBs on this list they have all had bad games as well this year and unfortunately wont hold it against them because they want to look at the sexier pick and the uprising talent, not the guy that has a loaded team around him.
Dan needs to stop that dance, as well as stop trolling us with his list
