I am constantly amazed at the variety of ways in which this wonderful piece of music is performed. I am sure the composer would relish the opportunity to hear them all. That said this particular performance was so well-staged and the apparel (particularly the hat and boots) fitted perfectly. I found that it brought tears to my eyes from the confidence and ingenuity of the performer.

I replayed the video, and yes, the clown was there from the very beginning, his back was turned towards the camera where he was talking to a group of people, then he sat on the pavement/sidewalk, and was actually framed by the harp. Yes he was i the middle of the harp...you could see him through the strings . I've watched this performance many times, but only just seen then clown since it was mentioned here. lol

You know you're listening to something mesmerising when a clown can walk past undetected at the 01:00 mark.
I saw the clown, so perhaps I wasn't mesmerized. The music was good but the body movements were distracting.
