    Came for the Pelikan M400 White Tortoiseshell, stayed for the very well made and informative content. I look forward to binging your backlog!

    Great video! I'll echo another comment to say, great pacing! Definitely kept my attention for the whole video. Really admiring your ink sample box too 😍

    I love Diamine Writer’s Blood. I have my Kaweco Sport (F) inked with it now. I can’t hear what your thoughts are about it, with the pen that you chose at the end of the month.

    I really think that what you are experiencing with the Ina-ho is the difference in wetness of the pen. My Platinum 3776 is consistently drier than other pens and I notice that besides a thinner line and/or quite a rough writing experience in the saturation of the ink. I'm curious to hear what you think when you come back at the end of the month.

      Yes, it's definitely a drier writing pen. I learned that pretty quickly after having flow issues with a medium sheening ink. Thanks for watching!

    Loved this. I like the pacing. Quick and to the point. I may be on a Nahvalur kick right now, but I always have to have at least one Eco inked up. I hope you enjoy the TWSBI and it becomes a regular in your rotation. Thanks for the video!

      Thank you so much for watching! I always have at least one TWSBI ECO inked up, too!

    I share your opinion about the rouge hématite. It was one of the first inks I ever bought, unwisely buying a full bottle before sampling it, and I find it too be VERY bright and just red. I don’t often get much of the other elements show through very well. I’ll be interested to know how or if your opinion changes as you use it.

      Thanks for sharing your experience with the ink. Now, I don't feel so alone in my experience, LOL! I'll post an update on my May pens and inks soon.

    What’s your experience like writing with the Lamy2000 vs the Jinhao 80?

    • @lifeinspiresdesign
      @lifeinspiresdesign  Год назад

      Hi! In general, I am confident in saying that they're both great pens. The shapes and sizes are similar; the LAMY is heavier, possibly due to the piston mechanism and larger ink capacity. The Jinhao was too dry in May, and the LAMY was too wet and a bit scratchy depending on the day (before I swapped out its nib). I probably should give them both another shot with the same ink in order to give you more detailed information. I've made a note to try them out again in August.

    Nitrogen Is a long time favorite of mine, though I think I actually prefer Organics Studio Walden Pond, whose base color is teal. I keep my samples in shotgun shell cases (I got the idea from Chris Saenz). Rouge Hematite is a great color - shimmer, but with some subtlety. l like the idea of putting the same ink in two pens to explore how the inks goes in different pens. Writer's Blood is super wet -- one of the wettest inks I know.

      Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Shotgun shell case, I had no idea that's what Chris was using, LOL!

      I don’t know about the V126, but the V169 is shockingly good. I’m sure the V126 is, too.

      The Asvine V126 is a great pen! I love how it feels in my hands; the matte material is soothing, and it feels like a really good quality pen. I love the color, and the nib worked perfectly for me. If you haven't seen it already, check out my writing sample with that pen in my April Currently Inked Final Thoughts video. I also enjoyed the cleaning process, since I could just unscrew the entire grip section to rinse out the barrel of the pen. I hope this helps!
