Austin’s psychedelic rock torch bearers return to Carson Creek Ranch to record a new live film, performing tracks spanning their career under the stars on the edge of the Colorado River.
"We decided to return to Carson Creek Ranch's 'River Stage', the former site of Levitation to bring it all back home. The setting lent itself well to the hot and humid Vietnam river delta feel we were trying to capture. In the early days we used to play along with the film “Apocalypse Now” and this brings it back full circle." - THE BLACK ANGELS

I think it's not a standard tremolo. Sounds like a Stutter Pedal with full speed and deep.

The reverb is on another level. Whatever kind of wah wah pedals or whatever they used, it sounds awesome! And the drummer is so on point, love it. The agressiveness mixed with the precisioun...

I have a guilty confession, I found The Black Angels 10 years ago but somehow slept on this song until I saw it live last year and it absolutely blew my mind. This is one of those bands whose studio songs are already perfect, but sound even more incredible live. Cannot wait to see them again.

One of my current favorite psychedelic rock bands
you know this really, really, really reminds me of Jim Morison.. Not in the sound of the voice but in his cadence and infliction. With the whole psychedelic plodding sound.

It was a perfect, surreal, cathartic moment dropping into the resort pool area with this song playing. It was a true descent into hell, heart of darkness style.

This was so damn cool to watch. I never seen an experience like this. I have seen a lot of livestreams, from Flogging Molly to Clutch. And they put on one hell of a show. But this was an amazing experience. I loved how they weaved in a lot of 60's stuff, like cartoons, scifi, just random stuff really. And then it was like one long acid trip.

Oh Sees seems to have ramped up their synths which seems to be a very good thing so far. I guess we'll have to see on May 15th.
