Khamond Birding Site

Khamond Birding Site is a about 25 KM from Jabalpur near the village Khamond. It is a big pond spreading over an area of about 20000 sq meters. The pond is about 2 Km away from residential area and surrounded by cultivated land. Through out the year there remains water in the pond. Although in summer season most of the area of the pond becomes dry still the pond remains life line for most of the residential birds and animals. As the pond is away from residential area hence lots of migratory birds also comes here.
