We've all been there. Much easier to learn with a 1S indoor whoop like the Tinyhawk S or 2 .... 500 crashes with no damage, then move outdoors. I do have a video on how to add foam to the Cloud 149 ducts. You're on your way. Your video work is way ahead of most of us.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience Ben. I am currently in the same situation as you were in the beginning. I am completely new to FPV, got myself a Protek35 thinking that since it's a cinewhoop it will be really easy to fly. Took it out and realized that I was not able to control it at all, had the fear of losing or crashing and breaking it so stopped flying. Now I am clueless on how to proceed from here. Please guide me on how should I go about being able to fly it? Thank you so much. Really appreciate your time and help.
You need to learn to fly acro and you can change modes from mode one to mode to you should be fine mode two and try to fly below head eight and take your GoPro off and slow down
I just got a novice 2 kit. I'm so bad at flying. The throttle is so god damn sensitive, if I'm flying 2s, the tiniest bit of throttle sends the fucker up to heaven. Completely uncontrollable.
This video is my life for the last month so funny I’m telling you same thing different county different drones hahahahah the 2nd time a man too tried to help with his 3 dogs 🐶 but no luck my first just like you lol look son let’s go really high no experience wow that was a waste of £30 lol then my 2nd gone other day lol can’t give up tho good luck mate just got a sub and thumbs up
Never had a fly off, but similar beginnings :-) much better now 3 years in.
There's a good learning curve to fpv. But you know. The experience and the experience of fpv really can't be matched. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching. And yeah, there is one hell of a curve!
Charlie is a good lad.

interesting - do you think that helps with vertigo?

Totally. Practicing in the simulator is how I got used to that. You can also lower the rates as well.
@@generalben using simulator on my phone using touch screen. I suck hard at that too
@@silverspork86 try hooking your controller up to a pc? At least you can get used to the feel of the sticks

Haha oh man I hate that feeling. Thanks for watching dude and don’t give up, the fun once you get the hang of it is like nothing else!
Nothing is true BNF. EVER.
You are burning cash! Get a smaller drone, and lower your rates by a lot!
Definitely will be lowering the rates. I should mention the reptile costs about the same as a tiny whoop in spite of its capabilities though.
