Thanks for sharing some great ideas. I made a fishing rod holder for beach fishing out of 50mm (2 inch) PVC pipe and a 45 degree angle fitting. I cut one end of a one meter ( 3 foot) length of the PVC pipe down to narrow one end (like a small shovel ) so it can be pushed into the sand easier. Then on the top I used a 45 degree fitting so that I could place the fishing rod through on the 45 degree angle. I then shaped the fitting( cutting a wide slot for the reel) to hold the rod and reel in place and secure the fishing rod. Now when I push the rod holder into the sand I can cast the fishing line and place the fishing rod into the holder (45 degree fitting) this PVC unit will support the fishing rod when I am on the beach. If a fish takes the bate the rod will remain secure in the holder until I take the fishing rod out of the holder. I can send you some picture if it makes it easier. The rod holder can be adapted for a boat or even rock fishing Cheers.
i like the idea for that last one, but i can modify it by using light metal chain or cable and a metal disc (like coffee can lids) or a soda can attatched by hook onto tab or soup can on the end for bb guns, airsoft rifles or slingshots. Good recycling!
The last one could be use as a clothes hanger. You can hang your clothes on hangers. My sister has one made of metal tubing she bought from a store. This home made one would be just as good and probably cheaper.

I've been adding Barbed wire arms (using cable, not barbed wire) in an effort to keep my AmBull in his play yard. That fence-top roller system is a GREAT idea! He won't be able to climb over THAT!
The mannequin was the widest thing I've seen yet and I can see it being used at Halloween in many ways. Good job on the water balloon filler, might even be something to market to the public.
Good job on the fence spreader. You have a LOT more patience than I do to wrap the pipe with 100 ft of cord LOL. How I made the notches in the end was to cut the PVC slightly longer than I wanted it and then drilled 1/2" holes through it. I then came back and re-cut the pipe right through the middle of where I drilled the hole leaving me the notch for the fence wire to fit into. I was leery of just cutting a 'v' groove in the pipe. My thinking was that the pressure of the wire might split the pipe so I wanted a smooth radius. I'm nut sure but 3' may be a little long but depends on whether your local land owner uses a 3, 4 or 5 strand wire fence. And obviously you need to insert it half way between the fence posts :-) You might want to go out and test a section of fencing to see how far apart you can spread it. Oh, and I step on the lower wire first and then pull up on the upper wire to spread it. I've found it easier that way.
Hi, great video . You can also make a similar design for a boot dryer. Another option that can be added is to have a input for a hair dryer to blow hot air into the PVC and then into the gloves or boots to help them dry faster without damaging them. The open PVC design will allow the air to be distributed to all the gloves or boots Also for #8 (car door bumper) you can use the same for a stop warning if you have shelving in your garage to tell you when to stop going forward before you hit the back wall ... hang it across where the windshield is and you know when you hit it , you are all the way in and have not hit the back wall (dad used to use a tennis ball for this also, but a pool noodle over some PVC will work as well),
A few years ago I made myself a huge movie screen with PVC pipes and a white cloth for watching movies outdoors with my laptop and movie projector :-) I could either hang it of a tree or wall or free standing with PVC legs at the bottom of the frame.
I like the water balloon filler. However, I'd add a rubber tilt valve on the end instead of the ball valve. If you have an empty helium tank (kids party baloon filler), unscrew the rubber tilt valve before you recycle it. Or go to where they are recycled and pull them off from there. Add a few thread fittings to make it work with a garden hose. Then you just slip the end of the balloon over the rubber tip and bend it (up, down, left , right) once full stop bending and tie off the balloon. I have one for my garden hose and works better than any thing else I've tried.
for the rolling bar on the gate, you can put a few rollers between the outer and inner pipes that way it rolls better and makes the dog give up faster . mounted on a high fence it keeps out the neighbors cat too :)

I enjoyed the Gun rack and target you set up. Way back about 2004, I was in the Army assigned to a Reserve unit in central Florida. As units were being deployed they military needed more supplies and equipment. ( these were becoming more and more difficult to provide due to budget cuts and reissuing supplies all over the world) One of the main issues was proper Weapons Training. We had no weapons. They were all taken by other units going over seas in OIF/ OEF. I was tasked with assisting with the training of Reservist as our unit was being sent to the four corners of the globe. So for one of the Training Requirements we had was the PHYSICAL FITNESS, and training with a weapon was a part of that training for the soldier to become familiar with. PROBLEM: NO WEAPONS :-\ SO I came up with a TRAINING AID. I used a 39+ Inch long 2in PVC Pipe with caps on each end. I filled the pipe with Concrete and re bar so it was the exact weight of a Fully loaded M16/AR15 Rifle. This training aid was the same length and weight of a weapon we would use. NOW I could run my soldiers through Physical Fitness Training with a proper Substitute. When my 1st SGT got wind of this, I brought it the unit morning meeting. Explained the whole concept to the commander and the Staff, I walked out of there with an order of 15 " MILITARY TRAINING UNITS" ( my costs were about $5 each back then) The next day I was handed orders for OEF and was off to Ft Bragg. :-\ sigh OH Well, the idea was sound and it is still an opportunity for the military to help keep our Soldiers properly trained. HOOOOAH! ;-)

you water balloon filling station gave me an idea for supplying water to multiple rabbit cages from a hose. I have a bunch of water bottle nipples that fit a standard hose, by taking a female pvc connection with a control valve at the end, you can run the pvc pipe above the cages, at each cage have a T that goes down to the proper position for the water nipple, put a male connection at the end, and screw on the water nipple. The control at the beginning of the rig will adjust the water flow so that the pressure doesn't cause the water to spray out.
Have you tried making a kayak carrier with wheels? People pay good money for those and its soo much cheaper with pvc. Also they make good lawn sprinkler markers so people wont drive on them.
The plastic cover on the winch of my boat trailer jack was disintegrating from the sun. I epoxied a piece of CPVC to it, basically using the original plastic cover as a bushing. (PVC is way too large otherwise.) Been on there for ~10 years so far & it looks the same as when I did it. (CPVC is more resistant to the sun.) I also ran CPVC down the length of my boat on either side and all the electrical cables & fuel line are protected, both from the sun and hooks/fish/etc. =)

your glove dryer can also be made heavier to dry boots, waders, etc. you can also use a step down connector and attach a blower to framework which will divert through the stand and air dry your gloves boots, and waders. it will not have a heating element in this way such as commercial versions may have, likewise you can take a large piece of pipe such as 6" with a end cap that has holes drilled in it to allow for drying of a motorcycle helmet or similar.

The first thing I thought of when you mentioned there is 100 ft of rope on the fence spreader is that it is a convenient way to carry that much rope which can come in pretty handy when you are out in the woods.

This is probably a silly question, but what did you use to cut the length of PVC for the coathangers? I usually cut my PVC with a hacksaw but the blade isn't that long. GREAT idea though, also adds strength to the hanger so heavy pants don't bend it.
OMG. The dog thing would have worked for my neighbor, his dog would climb out of the fence and he made some UGLY crazy thing that really didn't work too well. This would have worked.
+Johnny Wewoka Most of the time the animal doesn't jump OVER the fence, but rather uses it's momentum and pushes off the top of the fence to launch itself over. With it having a rolling edge the animal can't get the purchase on the top of the fence and therefore won't be able to get over.

Lengthwise would be a thin saw and time. Across would be pvc cutters that are at most places selling pvc pipe.
