    Thanks for the video.
In the matrix , i have a column for Average value of a row, the problem is the Grand total for Average is not showing the correct value (which should be the average of the total), instead it is showing the aggregate of the Average column. Is there a way to solve this?

Can you share the pbix file with the sample data explaining what you are trying to achieve? Make sure to remove sensitive information before sharing. Thanks!

Thank you :) It is similar to what I looking for thesedays! BTW, do I use Tabular Editor necessarily? I couldn't use External Tools, only just using inner functions in app. I just want to put target on the very left side and yy-month(Jan to Aug) on the next, not like target | Jan |target | Feb ... because it is as same as every single 12month target for YTD figures(want: Target | Jan Feb ... )). Anyway, even if I couldn't handle this problem, I'm so happy to find this solution! Thank you :)

Hi Kyla! First of all thanks for visiting my channel and watching the video. Glad you find this video useful. In your case, if you cannot use External Tools, the same can be achieved using a disconnected table, specially in your case, it can be solved thru the disconnected table. Let me know if this is helpful or if you still need more information/help.
Once again, thanks for checking out the video, and appreciate your feedback.
      Best!

I'm not sure this is the best example for calculated groups. I think this could have equally been achieved with a disconnected table and a SWITCH formula. Goodly has an introduction video on calculated groups where it makes more sense not to reference the Sales measure, but use SELECTEDMEASURE, so then you can use the calculation group either with the Sales measure or another one, for example Commission measure.

Appreciate the comments and the feedback. There are always many ways to achieve the reporting need, and I just wanted to walk thru that calculation groups can help to achieve something like this. which was earlier done using what you mentioned.
Regarding calculation groups, I have tons of videos on calculation groups and there is whole playlist on calculation groups, which walk thru different scenarios of calculation groups, not necessarily the basic use case of calculation group but some of the things that need attention using calculation groups, and more advance in the nature.
Ofcourse, calculation groups allows to reuse the same calculation on any of the measure using selectedmeasure but this video is not about that.
Once again, thanks for your feedback and point of view. Much appreciated 🙏

Hi Raj, Yes this is something I'm missing to add. I will try to do it for the upcoming video. For now if you need pbix for a specific video, please let me know and I will upload it. Thanks for the feedback.
      Best!
