If I ever need some whoosh sound effects, I'll just clip Patrick watching his animations.
Love how dynamic you showcased the Text+ nodes, it's so good!

Great Tutorial but was done quite fast so I’ll watch it a couple times again. I have been doing basic stuff i Fusion but got a lot a way to go! I’m way more familiar with Apple Motion since I also use Final Cut. Thanks Patrick!!!

So that is a Excellant video. I have a question. I followed along and created the text, and it worked fine. Then I saved a setting file and created a defx file. When I installed it and played it only the background and the third line came up and stayed in the middle of the screen. Any thoughts what may have gone wrong ??
    Thank you

I was following along just fine until about the 15 minute mark, and then you went completely off the rails and I had no idea what you were talking about.

Sorry, but this is NOT for beginners. You go way too fast without explaining all the fancy moves you are making. After 5 minutes, I'm done. That's ok. I'll come back in a few months when I have more experience.

You should give it a try anyway :) It’s a dense video for sure, but if you go through Patricks video «step by step» watching carefully what he does and copying what he does, by the end when you watch the video back one more time things that previously made no sense suddenly makes much more sense :)
an example: he explains how to open up the «search»-function for finding nodes once early on, then he uses that function again and again without explaining how he opens it.
To keep the video «short» (a full proper video for this thing would be several hours if everything was explained thoroughly time and time again) that’s the only way to do it, but it means you as a viewer have to stop the video and learn that feature/shortcut properly the first time he mentions it :)
So if you play, pause and replay each step, and go through the video step by step it’s not difficult, but it *is* a lot of info, which is kind of hard to avoid when teaching complex functionality in a pro piece of software, but I can promise you that if you take the time to step through and do each step (remember a video with much more explaining would be as long as, or longer, than stopping and rewatching parts of this one ;) you will have learned a lot at the end, and things will make way more sense once you have been through this simple motion graphic tutorial :)

@@SevShin Hahahaha, that’s an awesome idea for tutorials :) Especially if RUclips made a feature to change the voice pitch on slow playback so it sounds close to normal only veeeeeeryyy sloooooow :D two thumbs up :)
