    I used to go every week when I lived in Utah. I moved to New England and have missed it ever since. I'm excited to be returning to Utah in December just in time for Aurora. It's been great to see Evermore's growth. I believe it has the potential to be one of the greatest theme parks there is. I can't wait to get back to working with the Black Hearts.

    At 15:57. Apparently no fountain in that location. Was going to be a fairly large and intricate fountain there as planned several years ago before opening. Do they even still plan on installing it?

    • @everadventuress
      @everadventuress  2 года назад

      It was an ice rink in the winter season and used as a stage in the summer season. I'm not sure if they plan on installing the fountain.

      @@everadventuress They are. New equipment arrives late October, early November. The ice rink is on the side of the fountain where the green turf is and they hold the concerts. The fountain is two levels and has too much stuff in it to make it a rink.

    Have they brought back the rpg/quest element they had when they first started or is it now more of an event center with less focus on story and role playing?

    • @everadventuress
      @everadventuress  2 года назад +1

      During any story season night (Mythos, Lore, Aurora) there is a story and there are quests. There are sometimes non story times like Springfest (which was a few weeks in the Spring) while actors are in rehearsals that are not centered around story or quests. So yes, as long as you go during a story season night, the quest element is there!

    Is any of the food certified gluten free in park? I have a sister who is severely allergic to wheat, thanks in advance!

    • @everadventuress
      @everadventuress  2 года назад +1

      There is no certified gluten free food there. The safest is food in Vanders keep. Gluten free options are labeled on the menu there.
      I would avoid the fries in park because of cross contamination. I haven't had issues with the salads and shakes near the front of park, but again it is not certified and there's always that possibility of contamination. The staff has not been trained to know what is for sure gluten free and how to keep it that way. I'd recommend eating beforehand or packing a snack you can go out to the car to eat if needed if you are worried.

    I live in utah and was super excited about this place... but hearing about the concepts, to realization, and what it actually is. It makes me sad and I feel like it's not worth the trip. I'm sorry but I'm not satisfied with half built buildings and most buildings being closed to the public, fire dancing to electronic music, chalk board menus, hot dogs, and half thrown together scripts and half hearted tasks made up by actors on the spot. Every video I see, the immersion is broken everywhere with exposed wires and buildings filled with electrical panels. They ran out of money... but they could have finished the major parts of the park before spending money on real antiques and statues and grave stones. They have an art team that builds puppets and prosthetics in house... they could have saved thousands and done the same thing with their decor. Anyway... that's my rant on evermore park. If I was a millionaire, my passion project would be to help fix that place and make it what truly could be.

    • @everadventuress
      @everadventuress  2 года назад +7

      That's fair. Maybe it will be what you are looking for at some point and maybe not. You're not alone in wanting to be able to fix it up. It's gone through many different phases of having really excellent live musicians at times to electronic music other times. Food has been amazing some seasons and really lackluster other seasons. I personally prefer when the train ride is peaceful to when it has narration. The speakers are painfully loud if you are next to them. Perhaps I'm too lenient in wanting any part of a fantasy themed immersive experience even when it's still got so far to go. I think the main issue is Evermore hasn't gotten to a place where it's *consistently a magical experience. A lot of people who come are delighted and travel from out of state year after year to return. Others are underwhelmed. Sadly too much depends on if you happened to want food at a time it was fast to acquire and still available and if you happened to have super fun actor interactions or not. I personally don't get hung up on what the original park design was. That would have been amazing. I hope something like that is created some day. Evermore may not be that, but what it is is something I personally enjoy despite its many flaws. At the same time, I feel it's totally valid if someone doesn't enjoy it.

      @@t-blood9358 When I heard about the injury that happened to the Satyr, and the CEO's message to everyone after of trying to incorporate it into the story, with the "break a leg! :)" at the end, my blood absolutely boiled. Was just wondering! Are visitors allowed to wear costumes? Or is this only permitted during Halloween? I absolutely love the theme & have my own cosplay. What ive learned is its ok if your a regular visitor, the place has about 50 die hard fans and thats about it. If you arent one of those regular fan visitors they have gotten to know, its not fun, its lame with barely anything to do for most irregular people, not worth visiting for most people unless you are prepared for a huge let down, thats after watching around 100 videos of people that have visited the park and some more than once
