People like me were outside the room of Hindustani classical. Just liking the sounds coming from inside. Dhanashree opened the doors for us to take in fragrance of the music. Thanka
All respects to Shree Pandit Dhanashree Raiji, this workshop was a wonderful eye opener and lucid explanation about classical Indian Hindustani music. It is easily seen that she is both an expert in her subject as well as the talent of engaging her audience in the subject. Saying a thank you is neither enough nor appropriate to you madam. I send you my warm and profound respect.
Moods were so well felt. Not only do You excel in, sur laya bhaav taal, understanding of a great guru. Still so unknowingly grounded in divinity. Above all gratitude for the original. Brilliant upload
Absolutely lovely lec-dem! :) The word-bhaav mismatch in a few bandishes was amusingly shown ;) Also absolutely loved the demonstration of the idea of Raga Basant! :D

Very informative, I enjoyed every moment,If I can request that you speak in another video about the accompanying musicians , The Tabla and Harmonium, because I am a budding tabla player, and I can really appreciate the skills of the Tabla player and how it bring your singing to life, thank you.
it is so lovely actually i am from fiji and hardly anyone sings like but when ever i listen in radio i just love it maybe i must have a connection with my past life that's why i love so much Classical music , and you are so good maa saraswati aap ki khant par sada birajmaan rahe., Thumbs up .
Excellent demonstration, i really wish to learn our divine music, would be so blessed to learn from you ma'am, if you are reading this, please reply! ❤️
Namaskar. While talking about 'virakti' rasa you mentioned vedic chants but did not mention the raga they are based off. I was wondering what ragas are the vedic chants based off? Thank you kindly.
Very beautifully and crisply explained...For those of us who are somewhere in between,searching.....you have really captured the essence of our music so well!
All music is sacred - both western and Indian. This is my view. I respect both Indian and western music and find bliss in both. To say that one music style is more divine is a very black/white view on music of the world. With all respect to Indian music, which I deeply love - Also Indian music can become very superficial. It depends on the person who makes the music, not which culture the music is from.
I agree with your views completely. At what point in the presentation did you feel that I said one music was more divine than the other ? That was never my intent. You may have misread that.

Namaskar. While talking about 'virakti' rasa you mentioned vedic chants but did not mention the raga they are based off. I was wondering what ragas are the vedic chants based off? Thank you kindly.
They seem to be similar to Raga Bairagi, which is also what Dhanashree ma’am sang a sargam in, at that juncture in the lecdem.
Thanks...your way of teling is very nice and clear
