Awwwww - I love that they have their own little retirement home together❣️ They remind me of my parents, who are now in their 90s. 😍 It’s also wonderful to hear from Linda - you can tell how much she loves her work and her beautiful primate friends. ❤❤

That is so cool that they have their own enclosure. I like to see zoos taking extra special care of their elderly animals. The younger animals tend to push the elderly animals around and take all the food. I love to see my elderly relatives pampered in their twilight years.

He’s actually the same age as Winston at San Diego Safari Park and Charles at Toledo Zoo. I am so thankful to see them being provided safety, care, and compassion during their golden years.❤

I love his so much! I can't stop crying, mainly happy, grateful tears! I also love their caregivers so much! Thank you for giving my "kids" such wonderful care. I have so many fond memories of Amani and Ramsey as babies and young kids. I was a little sad seeing them so old but I guess I am too! 🙂Thanks again to all of you who have loved and cared for them for so long and continue to do so!🥰🥰

Que bom ouvir uma pessoa que gosta do que faz e gosta dos gorilas, uma relação de respeito, consideração, mais pessoas assim nos Zoos.

Our beautiful planet needs triage - Grateful for the conservation awareness brought by the good zoos, ones that ensure genetic diversity, too.
Hoping sanctuary vs exhibits are possible one day.

GIVE. THEM. A. TELEVISION . There are so many great animal documentaries and shows! Short 3 minute videos are great to break up the boredom. Classical music. Harps. Etc. Animals love sounds . Trying on hats and blankets would be nice. Please oh please give them some of what our Creator gave us to all enjoy. Koko even got a kitten!

I love this story. However, these two gorillas are not the oldest. Farouk is the oldest living on Japan. She is 67 years old. There is also an old gorilla couple, at a different zoo in Japan. The whatever reason, which I think is cruel they separated them. They live all alone. It's just cruel. I like what this zoo has done right thing to keep them together.

Give Ramses a little bit of Testosterone. Better quality of life. He might get moody tho lmao
