The soundtrack for this game is so underrated. The color design is too. Someone was an expert when it came to selecting the colors. The graphics are pretty dapper too.
Only CAPCOM can deliver such masterpiece!

Sick teamwork bro I only managed so far to kill the second Minotaur by myself without continues. It's a fun game.
This is one of my old time favourites of the arcade adventures gem and the FIGHTER is my main pick of the bunch 💪😎.
Same here. He has the most HP AND he levels up quickly.

Damage per hit: Dwarf, Fighter, Cleric
Attack Speed: Fighter/Cleric, Dwarf
Damage Resistance: Cleric, Dwarf, Fighter
HP Count: Fighter, Dwarf/Cleric
Experience Level Gain Speed: Cleric, Fighter, Dwarf
I loved this game so much! My favorite is the Fighter. The 3 Player Co-op looks fun too bad you needed an adapter to plug at the back of the SNES.

Couple questions:
1. Why Dragon Ryder boss (8th stage boss) is only attacked by one character (fighter)?
2. Why Black Knight (9th stage boss) is attacked by Dwarf, is he better for that than Fighter or Cleric?
Btw, great gameplay!
1.The Dragon Ryder has some sort of enrage if all of them atack togheter.So they assign only one player
2.Here you can see there are some dragons on the very edge which spit fire on the left and right so they need to keep atacking those

2. A good tactic: the cleric and the fighter keep away the two spitfire dragons while the dwarf evens the odd with the black knight, who's going to have hard time hitting an opponent way shorter than he is...
Theres a few reasons for that.
If multiple people attack it becomes a cluster fk to know who gets targeted hence its safest to send one guy who can reliably attack and expect retaliation knowing the timing.
In both cases outside of using magic u dodge the melee attacks of the bosses by jumping and the dwarf has the best jump with cleric having the worst jump in the game.
Fighter coudlve definitely been able to do it as well but dwarf player mightve also had the best reflexes

The dwarf got damaged at less than @3:20. I don’t care though! Very talented playing and this is so cool to watch. I only ever had my friend growing up to play this with. Where can you get the arcade version. Is it for pc? I’m not knowledgeable with this stuff but it seems a lot of old games are now available on the pc

That's strange. Why does Gildiss look easy in this one? As far as I remember, he can grab us with his giant claw and shoot a flame right through all directions (upward and downward.)
just don't stay with him so close, the most safe way is just like in the video cleric's position, attack his claws, then he won't grab you, of course will be a little bit slower to kill Gildiss but it's safe

Really nicely played.
Was never able to fully beat the game solo without dying at least once, but generally id beat the game back in the day by dying 2 times.
Royal Knights to this day i still think were the biggest pain of all 16 stages

Not losing any lives in the game. Taking damage is okay but dying is not allowed.

I'm noticing the Cleric seems to level up fastest, and the Dwarf the slowest. I gather the Cleric is the one you want to play when soloing?
+Bug Slayer Wizard is the best character in this game but you have to survive first few stages before he becomes powerful.

Bug Slayer I guess you are right. Michael has video on this channel of him beating D&D Shadow Over Mystara without being hit once on hardest difficulty using mage but he says he can't beat this game using thief at all.

i've beaten it now that it's on steam, but i seldom play anything other than fighter/dwarf so i'm not versed on the other classes' benefits/strategies.
+Bug Slayer Fighter or Cleric are pretty good for King of Dragons.
Dwarf is annoying, he has very short reach.
