@Alysia Williams Yeah, Ray Parker jr was a bit of an underrated artist back in the 70's and 80's. He was an in-demand session guitarist who played on a lot of records and wrote a number of hits (for himself and others). He also recorded an early demo version of the song which eventually became "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing". It was stolen from him, he wasn't given the songwriting credit and it became a massive no.1 hit for Leo Sayer.

Wenceslaus Murape the original boy band.
There was no johnny gill?
Alvaro Bendezu gill joined after but I think it’s still complete with him too. His voice was extraordinary
@@alvarobendezu8452 he was a Bobby brown replacement
Bobbys friend that got killed
There is just something special and nostalgic about this. It's wholesome and fun and is just feel good music.
For years this was “blocked in my country” but finally this video is available in the U.S. again! I don’t understand why it was blocked here when the video was shot here 🤷♂️
Really? I saw them in concert while in middle school. 7th Grade. It was GREAT!
@@christywagner2000 so they weren’t blocked when you were in 7th grade, that’s cool
@@learntoday450 the internet did not exist then!! lol 😂
Same. This says it was posted 12 years ago, but I never could see it.
@@CodyCole80 New Edition has never been blocked from viewing to my knowledge, unless the record label did so. Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s videos are “unavailable “ sometimes. Other band too. 🤔
Timeless song. Ralph has always been my favorite ❤❤
These guys are not a boy band, they are out of this world!!!

Still my favorite group of all time. Bubble gum pop or not, I still listen to this stuff.
RnB for kids. Not pop. Never was pop
Right, it's definitely R&B and not pop
@@baccgod942Sounds very similar to City Pop like Plastic Love and Loretta by Ginger Root.
I just love the vibe of this song.
This song makes me feel so happy and sad at the same time. I've loved this for years and I still do
this song was released 40 years ago in December... it's a bittersweet masterpiece

Im so glad I never dated or knew Bobby back then, it wud of killed me to lose him.
I loved him so much in them days... In my mind he was mine, the posters that was on my wall was enough.
They were adorable.
This song is timeless and never gets old.
Those synthesizers are dreamy & euphoric.
FOR THE RECORD, this video would probably have over 100m views by now but it was removed from RUclips for the last number of years and only just came back some time last year and is already climbing up at 20m. Won’t be long before it it continues to increase since this is one of NE’s biggest classics.
Still in 2023 and putting this song on repeat to sing for a talent show.
Classic New Edition.... Love It!! 😎♥️🎵🎶
the boy who played bobbi looked likke him so much
Miguel & Mace they mean in the new edition movie
Bobby as a kid had that gangly look and the kid had the same look. It slayed me.
The boy who you think looks like Bobby,It was himself and not someone else.

They were so young. Glad I got to witness and grow up wit them.
Something majestic about this one. The performances, choreography, concept & execution are flawless.
