Watched your vids preparing for the SIFT, now I commission in SEP for my state, going to my state's Blackhawk unit. Strangely, I legit feel imposter syndrome like it ain't going to happen, can't wait to arrive at Novosel tho
Everyone feels like an imposter unless you're an egomaniac. I know aviators who are tracking IP who still do. This is it though, you're here, you made it. Stay humble, no one likes a "prima donna"but definitely soak up the journey. We're only going to get to go through this 1 time and everyone I talk to looks back very fondly at Rucker/Novosel. Congrats on your future commissioning. 👏

got picked up for s2s in the January board! going to Fort Novosel in June for wocs and all the other schools. I'm Super exited and cant wait to start!

@@GWOlukasr1 hell yeah man! It’s not as bad as they make it out to be, but my class had arguably the best combination of TACs. I won’t name drop them online, but we had the three most chill ones.
Keep your head up, and remember the goal. The couse is a lot of death by powerpoint, but if your class sticks together, you’ll have a lot of fun, as silly as the course is.

Wish you the best in it. Show em your best. What I told myself before walking in the door verbatim was, "be a damn shame if you did all this work to blow it in an interview, get rid of your nerves and lock it in, showtime". Then i knocked on the door. Be sharp, confident, and let em know! 🤝

Was hoping to drop my warrant packet for the deadline to WORC on 15 July, but medical has hindered me by taking 3 months to schedule my phase 2 for my physical. So now instead of hitting the board on Sep, I have to hit the next board, and it's disappointing. Soon, though and I'll be up there and chasing my dreams to be an aviator
It's definitely a marathon. The physical is a huge roadblock for a lot of folks and it was the same for mine. Hope things shake loose for you soon on it.
I have a question I’m currently a student and I’ll be finishing up my degree. I want to go into aviation and I have been thinking about being a warrant officer. How’s life on the Active Duty side of the house for warrant officers? Keep in mind I’ve been in the Guard but I just don’t want to be stuck in a specific state.
I may try and do an active V guard episode at some point. In general my opinion is Active has to tolerate more bs but also lives the life, gets the full benefits, and duty stations. But warrants have the culture of common sense on adult rules more than others for sure.

I seem to be in a similar path to your buddies, I'm Guard and got a date for my SIFT test. Any tips for passing the SIFT or getting those pesky LORs? Anyways great vids man, I've been using your vids for over a year now.
You've gotta be proactive. Make phone calls, send emails, and bother folks. Be professional. Have your pitch polished and ready. Get out there and talk to folks sooner rather than later. Like today!!
You should do a meet and greet, for the locals, I myself and friends could pick your brain for hours.
One of the Warrants that I've been training with is from Enterprise. He's been planning on doing this his entire life. Got accepted as a street to seat at 18 years old!
