As people were saying in the video, the shadowy figure was probably violet because of how their eyes are similar and how violet was “absent”. However, I have been trying to look for an explanation on why violet tackled dusk lobber, and my theory is that violet knew that nightshade would pick dusk lobber ‘s gift if he had to choose between the two, and she also knew that dusk lobber would be watching, so to solve those two’s conflicts she made it so that nightshade would be in that situation and “attacked” him... although my theory is very flawed and I am not sure if any of what violet did was necessary in order to solve the conflict, as dusk lobber witnessing the chase scene does not look to be in a very bad mood. and plus “how did she know these things”, “how did she know dusk lobber would be watching”, “how did she know that nightshade would be unlucky and that he wouldn’t be able to catch the presents until it split” plus “how would she set it up so that nightshade would be in that exact position where the cliff is right nearby” and etc does show that my theory does not really make sense...but if you see in 6:01 violet is peeking and smiling that everything went well, which suggests either two things, considering that the shadow figure was violet: either violet was accidentally on her “bad side” (garden Kombat video) and is now relieved that everything still went well, or that she was behind this entire thing and was peeking seeing that everything went well. I think that she was behind all this, because of how she was present and because she witnessed the moment where nightshade ripped dusk lobber’s cap. Basically, violet was with crazy Dave who made him the modern day Santa and was behind the scenes helping solve the two’s conflict. Although as I mentioned, my theory does not make much sense logically, but I couldn’t think of a logically more make-sense explanation. Please let me know in the comments what your theory on the “shadowy figure and violet” is, or if I am missing out on this and I just can’t figure out the obvious XD
I am back after three years, and I would like to believe that my at the time very immature writing style has slightly improved. I cannot speak for the quality of my grammar even at this point in time, but I do believe that my writing in general has improved. Looking at this animation from a new lens, I am further convinced that this theory is true. Notice how at the start, we get a shot of violet. The entire first scene of the animation where the conflict is established actually centers around violet witnessing the event between nightshade and dusk lobber. And in the final scene of the animation (not taking on consideration the picture of nightshade and dusk lobber), violet is shown once more. This proves that the animator established things in a way where violet plays a pretty crucial role in the story, and the moment of violet attacking nightshade and forcing a situation of sacrificial love is the puzzle piece that fits together everything. I highly doubt that HHTQN would do all this, yet have the shadowy mysterious figure be a plant other than violet. This concept, I do think, is an illustration of what someone should do for a friend - my questions from my original message still remains in that in a realistic scenario, this situation is very improbable and it's really a one in a thousand chance scenario, or rather maybe violet was a mastermind that planned the exact detail (making sure dusk lobber was awake, the mathematical distance between cliff and nightshade, etc). My conclusion is not to look into this, and to assume that HHTQN wanted to include this scene to put in an entertaining climax that shows nightshade's decision that shows what kind of a plant he is.
Plot Twist 3:09 That was Violet, 0:26 Violet knew from the start that Nightshade and Dusk Lobber are having trouble Violet then split the gifts so Nightshade makes a mistake on giving his gift to Dusk Lobber, But Violet repaired/fixed the cap and placed it inside Nightshade's gift, Then Nightshade thought of getting Dusk Lobber's gift (but it's actually his) Then at 6:02 Violet peeks at them And Violet made them friends again

The new plants & the new zombies: starring: all plants & all zombies. Laser bean: Every plant in the room come over here! Jack-o-lantern: what is it laser bean? Violet: yes laser bean? Homing thistle: huh? Laser bean: I have been creating lots of new plants! Nightshade: awesome! Cabbage pult: woah! Laser bean: the first new plant is called apple bomb, he has a plant body & an apple head, if a zombie eats him then that kind of zombie will die instantly! The next one is called “Royal Hypno Flower”, she will send swarms of hypno shrooms to go after & annoy the zombies a lot, but, Royal Hypno Flower won’t spawn unless the zombies plant something called the “Strong coffee”, if she loses a quarter of her health she will charge up, when the charge up is done, some of the zombies will turn into pink stinky goats if they we’re too close to her charge up. Next one is called Giga torchwood, his arm is a chain gun arm that rapidly shoots fire & the other arm is a normal arm, but the only thing it can do is a malay attack, but it doesn’t do much damage, just knocks the zombies away, his legs help him move around & Giga Torchwood’s most famous attack is the blazin’ blast attack, where he inhales the zombies & exhales giant flames onto them, when he’s at low health, he becomes enraged & goes into a smouldering madness mode & his eyes & fire will turn from orange to blue, similar to normal Torchwood’s plant food. The next one is similar to me, Super bean, he shoots laser beams out of his eyes just like me, he also has a electric cyan force field & a red cape, he walks by floating. Next up is Gatling pea, this peashooter shoots 4 peas at the zombies also wears a soldier helmet. next one is for magnet shroom, gold magnet, he does the same things as magnet shroom, but instead of a mushroom body he has a plant body which is green & his head is of course gold. Next up is doom shroom, this plant explodes a crater in the ground his head is black with red eyes & his body is dark grey with a mouth. Next one is Pumpkin squash, also known as spooky squash, his eyes & the inside of his mouth are yellow & his teeth are orange so are his pupils in his eyes & he has a series of attacks, a ground slam, fire breath & fireball projectiles. Next one is Big stump, also known as Grumpy Stumpy, his arm is a club arm that smashes zombies & his other one is a normal one, the normal arm does the same thing as giga torchwood’s normal arm & big stump’s legs also help him walk around just like giga torchwood’s legs & big stump’s head is not on fire & he can’t breath out fire but giga torchwood can, Big Stump also has a charge attack, after charging towards the zombie he is targeting will will smash them with his club arm, Big Stump’s other attack is called “Bark Throw”, this is the attack where he pulls a piece of bark out of his head & throws it at one of the zombies, he’ll also randomly inhale the zombies & after inhaling the zombies close enough to him, he will use his club arm to smash them. Him & Giga Torchwood however, have the same weakness, they both have giant hit-boxes & they move very slow so it’s easy for the zombies to attack them. Next up is Sunflower queen, she will spawn groups of 3 normal Sunflowers by her commands & the normal sunflowers will heal their Queen, if they do heal their Queen, Sunflower Queen will get all her health back & undo all the zombies’ work, sunflower queen has white eyes & shoot yellow heat beams, she also has a giant hit-box so the zombies will be able to attack her easily. Sunflower queen’s head is all yellow but some parts of her plant body are lime. The last new plant is a pickle called “Bitter Dill”, he will bounce around to make himself move around & he will fight back by spitting bubbles at the zombies, these bubbles can bounce off the ground & walls too, once Bitter Dill loses a quarter of his health he will become briny, the only way the zombies can attack him again is by arming a soda trap, Bitter Dill will drop a mint & one of the zombies will carry it to the soda trap, if a zombie is carrying the mint they cannot sprint or use their abilities, once the soda trap is armed the zombies will lure the Bitter Dill in the soda trap & make him become attackable again. All plants: awesome! oh wow! cool! fabulous! beautiful! Narrator: at the zombie’s base… Dr. Zomboss: all right zombies, I have invented lots of new zombies! First new zombie is going to be Gaurgantuar’s brother, Giga gaurgantuar, his shirt is navy & wears sunglasses, so does his Imp & his weapon is black, When the plants shoot Giga gaurgantuar’s sunglasses off they will see that his eyes are red but when they shoot Giga Imp’s sunglasses off they will see that his eyes will be pink. Next up is pogo zombie, this zombie has glasses & has a red pogo stick, his shirt is black & his shorts are blue, his hair is dark grey. Next up is Head zombie, he is normal zombie but purple with blue shorts & indigo shirt with a normal coloured tie just like the normal zombie & his shoes are the same as normal zombie & me & him tell all of you what to do against the plants. Next up is Yeti zombie, Yeti will mess those plants up bad, he will throw icicles at them or freeze them if they get too close, he also has a slap attack, but that just pushes the plants away. Next up is Sasquatch zombie, Sasquatch will throw small fireballs at the plants & wears a maroon winter hat, & Just like Yeti, Sasquatch also has a slap attack that pushes the plants away & you all know his fur is brown & Yeti’s fur is white. Next up is Yeti king, Yeti king does the same attacks as normal Yeti but he wears a crown. Next up is Zen sensei, Zen sensei will do karate attacks to the plants. The last one is called screen door zombie, he is just like normal zombie but uses a screen door as a shield. All plants & all zombies: 3 2 1 GO! Conehead zombie: what? New plants also! Darn!
