I have a friend who made her RPG debut in Genshin and she enjoyed playing because of Keqing and Noelle.
When I told her many don't want to have Keqing, and showed her this video, she was like "How could others not like her, she is amazing!"
And I am proud of my novice gamer friend for that.

I remember losing 50/50 to her in zhongli banner during the 2022 lantern rite festival. This made my day and i cried when she appeared on my screen. She's literally the reason i played genshin and i finally got her after nearly 2 years. Love you Keqing, whatever the meta says, you'll always be with me and on my team💜
Till this day, I don't know what I would do had I not have Keqing yet for she was like my number one reason why I started playing Genshin Impact.

It's the same feeling we get from a well written character of a good book or movie. They're also fictional, but we can still feel for them.
One of Genshin's strong points are how well characterized their PCs are, at least that's what I think.
One of the reasons I feel like this is because of their VAs. They work so hard but once they finally get the attention by being in a banner, they get dissed because they're already in standard. Why dont these people just save up lmao

I remember seeing these two connected videos back in 1.3 when her banner was up.
I had just returned to the game for Xiao, who I barely managed to get. I knew Keqing was a standard character, but when I played her trial run I was just genuinely shocked how fun she is to play. (I had never met her in the story at that point, so literally no idea what her attitude or moveset was)
So… I just pulled for her. And at 16 pity she came home. Right before the banner ended. The same day the video got recommended to me on yt and I was just so happy.
Today I still main Keqing (and Xiao too), they are sort of my „signature characters“. Got her outfit the day it dropped in 2.4. I got Keqing Mistsplitter Reforged during 2.6 and a cracked team during the sumeru arc. Last Christmas my partner got me a figurine of her.
The craziest part is that even after 3 whole years of playing I have never once lost 50/50 to Keqing. I only got c1 a few days after hitting AR 60 in November 2022 and not even one more since then. Had I not made this decision of pulling on the banner everyone seemingly avoided back then, I wouldn’t have had the chance to play this wonderful, wonderful character until almost 2 years later. Thank you Keqing, for showing me your banner. I‘m happy I could be one of those lanterns lighting up for you.
I don’t know what came over me, probably lots of nostalgia. So I thought it‘d be fitting to leave my story with Keqing here, as this video was right there when it started!

@@blackopsvocaloid39 they really need to buff electro. My fire dps characters are doing over 15k off simple light attacks with a week’s worth of grinding artifacts (that aren’t even great) and my Keqing with amazing artifacts performs at a similar level. It’s silly.

you know there is a thing called pity? Literally impossible to play since launch and not have any 5 star characters, unless you made some of the worst decisions and just dont' play the game at all? Would have to skip out on like 80% of the gems you get in the game and exclusively pull on the standard banner, and even then you'd have to rng a weapon 5 star instead of character.

Nobody buys any from her and then at the end she eventually dies to the bitter cold but in her last moments she tries to use those matches to get warmth and sees an illusion of some of the things she desired which made her happy and she passed on to the afterlife happily with her grandmother (she saw her grandmother taking her to the skies in the illusion)

I just started to play Genshin Impact last 5 weeks, and I get to play the quest about Keqing and the Lantern Rite yesterday, when I get to try Keqing as a trial character to fight the enemies, ngl she was really strong, especially her ult, that's when I decided to collect Acquaint Fate a lot to pull her in the Standard Wish, but today I decided to pull for Zhongli because I had 10 (forgot the name of the fate), but what I got was Keqing, I'm not disappointed that I lost my 50/50, I was just really happy because I get to have Keqing, which I wish to get too, and she's my first 5 star character, even though I don't have Zhongli, I still have Keqing, there's still a lot of time to collect some primogems and pull for Zhongli and Ganyu, I'm excited to play her character now

@@alter9851 Hu Tao's banner was delayed because Hu Tao works at a funeral parlor so, it'd be inappropriate to release her during the Chinese New Year and Mihoyo gave Keqing her own banner to fill time and that made people angry for some reason.
