- We have uploaded an exclusive, unreleased studio version of The Rasmus' "October And April" featuring Lena Katina. She was later replaced by Anette Olzon from Nightwish in the final version. Note: This song will NOT appear on Lena Katina's upcoming album.

I like Anette's version of this song, but I just love this one so much more. The Rasmus an tATu are my 2 favourite bands, and this is just the perfect song for someone like me.

this is full of awesomeness
Lena's voice makes this song sound sad and innocent whereas the one with Anette makes the song sound dramatic and powerful. I like both of them, but I enjoy my music with a little bit of vocal energy in them, so the song that featured Anette won me over.

Pure epicness. I can't imagine why they'd replace Lena for Anette Olzon! Lena's version sounds sooo much nicer. That's not me just being biased because I'm a Lena fan, either! It sounds simply beautiful!

I like Lena's voice but for this song Anette's fits so much better!!!!
maybe she was replace cause her voice sounds louder or higher than lauri, and he had to try to sing louder for can be listened, the most part of the song lena's voice is stronger then lauri, he sounds like background. though the song sounds still nice with both, and both bands are my favorites so, is great to know they tried together :)
I think Lena's voice to that of Lauri opaque, so we decided to get the version with someone with a lower voice quality. It is my personal perception.

@Alan4Rayne I think both Lena and Annette are excelent singers but both have a totally diferent style...Lena´s voice is sweet, lovely...Annette´s voice is like warmer, more loud...anyway both make us feel diferent emotions with their voices...that is what makes them both awesome = )

I wasn't bashing on Lena, I was just pointing out the difference between the two in a constructive and professional way, instead of saying "Oh, well, she sucks." Let's be a little more mature than that, please.

It was chosen with Anette singing because Anette gets more media attention for being the brand new singer of Nightwish, Lena, however, isn't as well known. Bullshit much.

Nah, Anette's version is stronger. Anette carries her notes out and has more presence in her voice, versus Lena's weaker sound.

ok, I think that both singers have a super cool voice, but i think Anntte's wasn't the right one for October and April.
I prefer Lena's voice, cus sounds better and more natural. Anette's wasn't very good Live.
@ISeeAnIdiot theres nothing wrong with miss lena...however im deliberatly posting this to tell you why annettes version was chosen....it was better...and before you accuse me of being an annette fanboy understand that i preffered tarja and always will...annette has a beautiful voice and so does lena but this song doesnt suit her and nightwish doesnt particularly suit annette...most of nightwish's songs dont anyway,as for tatu selling more than nightwish it doesnt really prove whos voic is better

When has Anette ever insulted another country? And hardly greedy, all the guys have side projects and Anette isnt the first band singer to have a solo - look at Liv Kristine.
That last statement was just pointless, of course i wouldnt but he writes 99% of NW songs so he IS the soul of the band.
If you only ever liked Tarja then why don't you just listen toher solo?
