Yeah, I actually like the ABS on this bike it's not too intrusive. I was tempted by the 2010 model but to me the headlights make the bike look a lot less modern to me. It's definitely my favorite bike so far - I've had faster and I've had comfier, but don't think I've had a funner one. Cheers
Good vid, I've got a 2014 Speed Triple in diablo red too. Had it over a year and love it, done some mods myself and i have a blackwidow low boy exhaust, comfort seat and few other nice subtle mods. Definitely gonna look into getting the suspension set up though, I feel like it will be well worth it.
Is yours the face lift version or exactly the same as mine? And honestly get it done. Best thing I’ve done - better than any other mod in my opinion. If you’re up north go to Weardale Racing - Ian will sort you out for £50 and he will adjust it for the time you own the vehicle free of charge thereafter. Cheers for commenting 👍
@Big_Chicken_Lips i've got the newer style dash clocks on mine so I'm presuming mine is the facelift. I think that's too far away I'm down just outside west London/Berkshire area. Does yours have a quick shifter on?
@ no, looking at getting an aftermarket one, I just clutchless upshift usually… And honestly if you get to ride up north/Lake District area try and book in it only takes 30 mins max… Probably some more local to you but can’t recommend that guy enough
@@Big_Chicken_Lips I put a translogic QS on mine but only use it 3rd gear up and these gearboxes are clunky at the best of times. Yeah I'm gonna have a look around once the cold and rain starts to go away. Thanks
@@RedDragonman14 yeah, I do have a false neutral issue but think it’s from me not being firm enough with the upshift… caught me out a few times. My tiger 1050 had the same issue until I changed the gear lever itself and it reduced it significantly

I have a 2010 Speed Triple 1050 and I love it. Such a lovely smooth, tractable, torquey engine. Brakes are fab too, though no ABS on my model.
