I'd like to think Vincent is the reason the Tiny Bronco broke down during that flight. He was the extra body that pushed it past its weight bearing limit.
Hopefully his gameplay will reflect that this time around, I remember in the original I barely used him because his limits were shit. Then in the final battle against Safer Sephiroth I made the mistake of having his Chaos limit on only to realize Sephiroth’s completely immune to Chaos and it makes Vincent uncontrollable for the rest of the battle.
I'll take Cloud over This edge-lord wannabe vampire every single time. He has onlly 2 moods sad and brooding and angry and edgy. And just so happend this vampire's Garlic is NTR stories. That's about as relatable as it gets for me .___.

Seriously Vincent is one of those individuals who can literally carry himself and get things done by himself with ease. He just tag-alongs or befriends to investigate or leads him closer to Hojo or Spehiroth
I don't know if he could defeat Sephiroth himself, but he definitely could do a lot of what the party did alone. I mean, he got his own game after all.
That's what happens when you can transform into one of strongest being in FF7 I find it unlikely that form will appear in next FF7, except if it being remake of FF7 Dirge of Cerberus

So Vincent wasn't really in a long slumber (as what I thought when we woke him up in the original game) and was just normally sleeping in a coffin. I mean his room was clean and well lit.

I think it might be that he’s just crashing in the abandoned Shinra Manor without having an official reason to be there. So he makes up a job on the fly.

He’s an optional character in the original FF7 along with Yuffie but since been part of cast since Advent Children. The remake series is continuing that route.

It’s Hojo’s. Hojo has never been very normal about his own son and there are hints throughout the series. Hojo is implied to be the head of Sephiroth’s own fanclub, which was founded when Sephiroth was basically a toddler. And the information in that club is just invasions of privacy. Hojo is vomit-inducing.

Yea they did a crazy switcherooo. Both yuffie and Vincent were the optional characters of the og ff7 so them not letting you use cid was a slap to the face. I get why not Vincent but cid wasn’t an optional character in the og he was part of the main story from tiny bronco to the high wind and into space for bahamut Zero 0️⃣
@@brabnoify I agree with you 💯. My issue was that it’s an incomplete game. Ima wait for the last part it should be out by either this fall or summer. The last part is the north crater for the reunion where cloud disappears which after the reunion your in Junon. Then you escape Junon with highwind flying ship go get cloud and help him remember then go back to Junon steal a submarine and use it to get underwater staff from ancients then use that staff in forgotten capitol to see a memory of AERITH and her people. After you got back to Midgard fight diamond weapon and then the Junon cannon is fired to kill diamond and then you infiltrate shinra one more time to fight HOJO(with his creatures) AND SCARLET WITH HEIDEGGER (BIG RED MACHINE). Then you go back to north crater infiltrate and fight Sephiroth. A lot of side missions from wutai and back and also hidden spots that only a gold Chocobo can access and optional bosses are the remaining weapons. Ruby, ultimate, emerald and hidden areas with submarine so yea a lot of side quest. Also Lucretia Sephiroth mom is in a cave sealed in a crystal and many more.
The whole time, I thought he was played by Alejandro Saab. OCTOPATH Traveler 2 and Persona 3 Reload were the last two games I played, so I thought he was 3 for 3. Especially when Saab played Dimos (who’s basically Vincent as a cyborg) in that Nier mobile game. I was so shocked when I hit credits and saw Mercer's name.
what i find fcking HILARIOUS about his design is his holster. it’s fcking huge obviously designed for the Cerberus gun, but he uses a generic handgun which is tiny in comparison to the holster lol will be interesting to see how his gameplay is in 3. wonder if his weapons will change his triangle button. like the handgun being fast weak shots, shotgun slow heavy stagger at close range etc
Fun fact: in 97, Vincent was what all the kids wanted to play as. He was always the topic of classroom discussions about FF7. In other words, Vincent was hella cooler than Cloud even decades ago
I hope in part 3, Sephiroth finally learned Vincent's connection with his origin especially Lucrecia. Knowing him, Sephiroth will be pissed that he carries her picture and who his father is
Matthew Mercer is the voice Vincent Valentine which sounds more like McCree from Overwatch and Jotaro Kujo from Stardust Crusaders than the actual Vincent Valentine from Dirge which is weird, but it's passable. Wish they could chose another voice actor that sounds like actual Vincent from Dirge. I can imaging Vincent Valentine saying It's Highnoon.

Ive only seen cutscenes so no side interactions, but does any of the team really interact much with Vincent? No asking why the heck he turned into a monster? Or how he knows Sephiroth? I know theyre saving a lot for the next part but I feel they should still have asked and Vincent could just not answer. Just my little nitpick. I really love this game though, and Galian Beast looks so fricking cool! Can't wait to see the others. Edit: I realise now there is a side quest that explains a few things. I hadn't seen this in my first viewing on youtube.

Hmm. At the end of the first conversation Vincent says that they can do as the see fit but if you go up to the coffin he tells you to only use the terminal and not touch anything else. He only does this here. So I wonder if you didn't do this then him confronting the party shortly after is any different but doubt. It's not like those who went into the already open door touched anything. Might have been good to tell him this. Should have shut and sealed the door or better yet accompanied them if it was that important. Perhaps I'm reading too much into this. Also a half-assed meet at the plane feels like a shitty way for him to join the party. Even a small recap on his reason would have given it more meaning. Wonder why they made him silent on it here.
i love the fact chaos is a weapon of mass destruction cramped into this dude, but i always was of the impression that vincent's body limited it. chaos can do 1-hit death spells in the og, but he is still *rather* easy to kill. even the ending of dirge of cerberus did not show its full potential, i think. must be frustrating to be chaos.

Then you escape Junon with highwind flying ship go get cloud and help him remember then go back to Junon steal a submarine and use it to get underwater staff from ancients then use that staff in forgotten capitol to see a memory of AERITH and her people. After you got back to Midgard fight diamond weapon and then the Junon cannon is fired to kill diamond and then you infiltrate shinra one more time to fight HOJO(with his creatures) AND SCARLET WITH HEIDEGGER (BIG RED MACHINE). Then you go back to north crater infiltrate and fight Sephiroth. A lot of side missions from wutai and back and also hidden spots that only a gold Chocobo can access and optional bosses are the remaining weapons. Ruby, ultimate, emerald and hidden areas with submarine so yea a lot of side quest. Also Lucretia Sephiroth mom is in a cave sealed in a crystal and many more.

The whole time, I thought he was played by Alejandro Saab. OCTOPATH Traveler 2 and Persona 3 Reload were the last two games I played, so I thought he was 3 for 3. Especially when Saab played Dimos (who’s basically Vincent as a cyborg) in that Nier mobile game. I was so shocked when I hit credits and saw Mercer's name.

what i find fcking HILARIOUS about his design is his holster. it’s fcking huge obviously designed for the Cerberus gun, but he uses a generic handgun which is tiny in comparison to the holster lol
will be interesting to see how his gameplay is in 3. wonder if his weapons will change his triangle button. like the handgun being fast weak shots, shotgun slow heavy stagger at close range etc
Vincent is literally the strongest and most OP in the team if you think about it lol. He is a superhuman who can transform to a beast.

Matthew Mercer is the voice Vincent Valentine which sounds more like McCree from Overwatch and Jotaro Kujo from Stardust Crusaders than the actual Vincent Valentine from Dirge which is weird, but it's passable. Wish they could chose another voice actor that sounds like actual Vincent from Dirge. I can imaging Vincent Valentine saying It's Highnoon.

Ive only seen cutscenes so no side interactions, but does any of the team really interact much with Vincent? No asking why the heck he turned into a monster? Or how he knows Sephiroth? I know theyre saving a lot for the next part but I feel they should still have asked and Vincent could just not answer. Just my little nitpick. I really love this game though, and Galian Beast looks so fricking cool! Can't wait to see the others.
Edit: I realise now there is a side quest that explains a few things. I hadn't seen this in my first viewing on youtube.

Hmm. At the end of the first conversation Vincent says that they can do as the see fit but if you go up to the coffin he tells you to only use the terminal and not touch anything else. He only does this here. So I wonder if you didn't do this then him confronting the party shortly after is any different but doubt. It's not like those who went into the already open door touched anything. Might have been good to tell him this. Should have shut and sealed the door or better yet accompanied them if it was that important. Perhaps I'm reading too much into this. Also a half-assed meet at the plane feels like a shitty way for him to join the party. Even a small recap on his reason would have given it more meaning. Wonder why they made him silent on it here.

i love the fact chaos is a weapon of mass destruction cramped into this dude, but i always was of the impression that vincent's body limited it. chaos can do 1-hit death spells in the og, but he is still *rather* easy to kill. even the ending of dirge of cerberus did not show its full potential, i think. must be frustrating to be chaos.
