So sad that he lost his wife and daughter. He also played Percheck in Fiddler on a Roof, and fell in love with one of Tevah's daughters. He is still a very handsome man at the age of 80.

His wife really was such an amazing person, despite being sick and losing her daughter she did so much for the victims and families of those affected by the disease. Her legacy also continues on with the Elizabeth Glaser pediatric AIDS foundation as well as her son who has taken up her fight.

My sister and I used to watch Starsky and Hutch all the time and I had a big crush on PMG back then. I had all his teen magazine posters plastered on my bedroom walls

@@FactsVerse it was the episode called ‘The Plague’ where Hutch had caught a deadly virus and was in isolation … and not knowing if he would make it or not, Starsky was searching for a cure.
Any Starsky and Hutch fan knows that Paul lost his wife and daughter due to a blood transfusion that had the HIV infection in it. My heart broke for him, but was so glad to know that Jake remains healthy despite the HIV that he also carries. I did not know that Paul remarried, but as long as he is happy, that is fantastic. It sucks that he lost his best friend last week, Hutch will always be my favorite tv hunk.

I remember Paul saying back in the day when his wife and daughter got infected with HIV and was losing the battle of life ,, He quoted in tears no matter how much money you have they will never come back and there no cure ..
I really wish they wouldn’t do another remake with women….let’s be honest all us teenager girls watched it also because Starsky and Hutch were cute and the guys watched because the cool car and chase scenes…..they don’t need to ruin it by remaking it…do a remake of Cagney and Lacy….

Yes I knew that he lost his wife and daughter to AIDS. So unlucky, but she surely made the best of it and her great legacy lives on. ❤

Her son was also infected however he had a mutation of the CCR5 that protects his white blood cells so he has been relatively healthy.

Yes. Also, Ben & Owen will never be considered Starsky & Hutch by their true fans. Only Paul and David will always be Starsky & Hutch! Also true to the series Starsky & Hutch never got married or had any children, so this so-called remake with females doesn't cut it. Plus, the fact that what Paul & David brought to the screen and real life with is real love, friendship caring & chemistry that can never be duplicated or replaced. So whoever wants to do this remake with females need to make them Cagney & Lacey. If whoever wants to do a remake, they need to let Paul & David direct, write & produce it or leave it alone where it ended. The 2004 movie was a flop even the creator didn't like it & David didn't didn't like it. Nor do us real fans like it & we won't won't watch this remake. There is much better to things to spend money on like saving our children.. So let whomever wants to do this that Paul & David's fans are against this remake with females.

I was 9 when Starsky and Hutch came on the networks. Just saw him on the 2005 movie "Ladies Night", where he would seduce bonded women in control of large amounts of cash for their employer, entice them to make a large withdrawal for him and then kill them and keep the money.
well that Hollywood for ya always putting a scar on the original's , make up another for two women to go out and do some stunts , but use other names and make it their own.
