Superb does not even begin to describe this couple. They combine incredible flow and grace with impeccable, needle point precision. She pirouettes with the speed and ease of a falcon and then sublimely melts into her partner. They braid into one another's legs, arms and torsos so lyrically and comfortably, then he lifts her above him with just the palm of one hand and supports her to soar like a gorgeous, magical swan, a majestic crane in flight.
And that one move where her feet are around his neck and she holds her entire body sideways in perfect control, both utterly surrendering to the downward pull of gravity, yet at the same time, maintaining herself impeccably upright rather than collapsing was mesmerizing.
For these moments in the dance, she lives in a liminal space of gravity defying tension, fully erect, yet at a vertical angle from the floor, yet also slowly moving with gravity;s downward pull. She slowly descends to the floor while both maintaining being upright and also sideways. How is this even possible? What magician concocted this movement? This is a never-before-seen stunning move that she executed perfectly, exceptionally with her partner's support.
I've never seen the human body be able to do this before! She did this without being rigid or stiff, with a perfect blend of focus and calmness.
I couldnt believe my eyes. This will stay with me, teaching me that the impossible is possible if you work for this with everything you have, holding nothing back.
This couple could easily win gold in the Olympics.
Deepest respect and admiration for you both. Your dance inspires me tremendously and makes me want to give every ounce of my being to this world as you are doing through your most remarkable dance.
