It’s rare you see a guitar that’s both pretty and sexy and that’s one right there. Lovely mellow single coil cleans too to my ears. Best of both worlds on looks and tones. The granite sparkle finish is certainly different, like most ESP guitars it looks and sounds amazing, but sadly way out of my price range. We both need that lottery win Jonathan, thanks for your excellent review.
The Horizon is propably one of the best "Superstrat" designs out there. It´s a shame they discontinued the model with the black, plain maple top, passive S.Duncans, OFR & "teardrop" headstock. That model is such an elegant weapon.
Great demo as always Jonathan. Thanks for that clean section, I was wondering how those pickups do without distortion. Obviously a very nice guitar although at nearly 2000 USD I think I would like the ESP name on it. The E-II logo is fairly new to me, I’m not really clear on the marketing concept. You can get real PRS for $2000.
Neck could feel thicker because of the layering they do with the sparkle flakes. Tacky clear coat goes on then the flake, another tacky clear coat and yet another layer of the metal flake. It's repeated until the desired "depth" is achieved.
I don’t know if it is a good value, but wow. What an amazing looking axe. Great contours, great finish…if I were to put down serious bones on a guitar, you can stuff those relic jobs…😂…give me something that distinguishes itself from the guitar peasantry! 😊
Jon, I've seen all your ESP/LTD demo videos, but this one is special. Your backing track is a bit more ROCK and you play faster than usual. Does this guitar bring back memory when you still play rock ? For the guitar itself, I read the spec about this guitar in early 2021. This guitar has all the spec that I want except the color and pearloid binding.

I just got one of these last week... does it have stainless steel frets? They sure feel like SS, but I can't find any information online. Seems to be a bit of a rare guitar.
