Quick reminder for Overkill in Challenges (pg 211) The +5 maximum for Overkill is from *excess* wounds caused, so the Dreadlord could have potentially gotten 8 combat res from challenge with the 3 Wound Irongut champion (if his dragon went ham). Not that it mattered here, but it might against the champion of a high static combat res infantry unit!
Hi nice rep. About to start ogres. can you explain why when you first used the cauldron, you haf to roll a tough ess test and then a LD test? I thought it was just LD?
I doubt you have the models available but I'd love to see like a 150-200 skeleton archer tomb king army to see how good or bad they'd do with that many range attacks. I think they're the only army that could field that many for the standard game size.
Even ogre battle reps can be fun to watch when you don't rock iron gut bus deathstar lists every single time, no matter how chill your opponent's army, like somebody else out there...
ogres have a 49% win rate in comp play atm. they are middle of the pack with their strongest toys, should always be a fun game.... unless ya playing empire... empire need some help xD
Great game guys. Luka, why did you used stubborn rule with the black guards?!? You MAY use it in the minute 1:21, not forced, isn't it? It was better to use your normal leadership test. Did I missing something? In any case I'm happy for you Luka, finally in the winning side 😂
So weird to me that a stonehorn only gets impact. So only useful if it charges and only for the first turn, while nearly every other monster and even smaller things get stomps every round.
I know you do "lying Vortex still does damage" and all, but it can't end on top of units when it moves - so if a unit is standing on it, even if you roll a hit shouldn't it move to clear them?
I don't get what the gnoblars have to protect the cook. A Lone character cannot be targeted by enemy shooting or by enemy spells whilst it is within 3" of a friendly unit (that is not itself fleeing) that contains five or more models of the same troop type as the character (i.e., infantry or cavalry), unless the Lone character is the closest target. Emphasis on the last phrase.
meaning the gnoblers dont protect the slaughtermaster is the slaughtermaster is the closest target. but the slaughtermaster can be targeted all the time if he isnt near the gnoblers
Please stop using the ruby ring of ruin. Or just agree to play 1700 point armies instead of 2000. Or better yet lean into it, everyone has ruby rings of ruin, entire regiments of guys just firing fireballs at range at each other since someone has to be making all of these ruby rings, some wizard in the old world arming both sides of each conflict, ushering in a new old world of pure ruby ring of ruin warfare.

Your Banner bearer is a legit banner bearer, it was an exclusive mini you would have with the DE army box back in the 6th edition.
What's the point GW can retire your entire army when they wake up on the wrong side of the bed 😔

Column of Crystal, is clearly a giant salt crystal to season the soup.
Always makes me a little sad seeing all the old named models just reduced to stranded ones

missed opportunity to call it the column of gristle
That BSB for dark elves was only available in the army box I believe. Super nice mini picked up one myself on eBay they’re in quite high demand!!

Man, I thought I was the only one who played wargames in a fez.

I'm slowly painting up my own ogre force. One day when it's finished I'll throw down the gauntlet to you. Radio Free History vs Mountain Miniatures.
So what you're saying is, the shield of Grond probably shouldn't be allowed on monster-riding characters or at least not on the dragon?
I’m putting it on my Manticore and none but an errata /FAQ may stop me
@@Bog_Dog fair
Though having played against a DE dragon and two manticores lost jist yesterday, on the manticores it's much less of a problem

Those little spike barriers… where’d you get them / make them? Those are perfect low linear objects for fun terrain play
A hydra has got strength 5!
hey guys. where can I find post game show for this batrep? thanks in advance. Cheers, Ivan
Great job, I love seeing the gnoblars!

@@MountainMiniatures Fair enough, it just felt weird when you put them in front of the gnoblers.
The Fez has returned.
Yes more dark elves!
Can anyone explain to me the Dark Elf nerf from the FAQ Luka talks about it but it makes no sense cause he never desvribes it
They changed the wording on Word of Pain, so it now reduces enemy WS by 1, instead of setting it to "1".
Blood Armor is also infantry or cav model only now. Which means no more 2+ save Dark Elf Lord with a ward save on big monster anymore.
You did have a Lance. Steve FBIGO and you followed up, per latest FAQ you get the lance!
time stamp? Also I didn’t Have a lance in this list
Do Canadians get a discount on flannel?
do you even know what flannel is?
Rocking that Fez Luka
"I LOVE THOUP!"
I wish you loved Heresy as much as you love old world. You do you.
Ogres need small tune up or Dragons need one less attack.
Old world!!
