- Got a mind blackout near the end, otherwise it would have been a sub 4'45 for sure. I will publish the run anyway, but I believe that Switch Axe in TA can still go down a lot. In the future I will definitely try to lower this time, but now I want to run the new Apexs!

well done as always a real pleasure to watch you play. when i had my first go at Valstrax in rise i thought "i know i'll take in a dragon wepon" (SA of course) then after being hit with dragon blight realized my error lol any other element or status fine i found out at the end of the fight oh well.
Always looking forward to your runs to see how I can improve my own play

Bella magari no, visto che sul finale mi sono letteralmente mangiato il sub 4 e 45. Inoltre non sono ancora certo de set, probabilmente se i pianeti si allineassero la Rampage con fiale paralisi potrebbe ottenere risultati migliori (tre paralisi a caccia assicurati). In futuro ci riproverò, vediamo che scappa fuori
@@Benjiboi Va beh, ma hai fatto un paio di errori, ci stanno. Per la paralisi no so, l’ho provata, e non riesco mai a posizionarmi come si deve per sfruttarla e fare danno serio, forse la potenza rimane superiore. La cosa certa è che ci sono molte scelte valide per i set.

Imo that's what makes switch axe different is it's all offensive power and it would just make it op and boring to use, longsword part 2

Adoro la switch axe però ultimamente mi sta iniziando a diventare antipatica la ZSD. Che cosa ne pensi della compressed diacharge? Io trovo che sia molto più divertente però il danno in meno c'è, almeno così mi sembra.
Ah, ovviamente ottima run come sempre e non vedo l'ora di vedere un tempo migliore sul valstrax
Il problema della compressed putroppo non sono solo i danni. È una mossa lentissima e che lascia scoperti troppo a lungo e consuma davvero troppa barra del cambio. Come mossa difensiva in determinati matchup può essere interessante, ma di norma non è neppure lontanamente paragonabile alla ZSD.
@@Benjiboi Non immaginavo fosse così male. Però, in termini di una normale partita e non una speedrun, se dovessero fare delle modifiche, per me basterebbe già ridurre i frame di immobilità a fine mossa per renderla più rapida ed evitare di sbalzare i compagni vicini per renderla un'alternativa valida alla ZSD.

how did you manage to get the SA’s dmg to 220?
I added sharpness, ne and exhaust but only managed to get it to 200.

They doesn't stack. Simply put since there isn't any element on the weapon, "phial element" becomes automatically a power phial SA

Question. Why do you use Phial: Element as a rampage skill?
I'm assuming its to get power phial without losing any raw or affinity. As you can see they also got non elemental boost so there's no element to phial. So it defaulted to power phial.

@@jreinb734 Power phial is defaulted into the rampage weapons, technically 3rd slot should be empty so I'm also wondering why is there element phial

Benji is there a monster to get good at timing the I frame one the charging dash silkbind? I suck at that I frame and always get hit.
Also could you give a list of your fav/best SA in the 3.0?
And awesome run! You put Valstrax in her place even with a little roughing up.
For practicing this I went to the training area and learned by I framing the toadversary stomp. Best advice is that it’s easy to go too early, the I frames on this silk bind are a lot like I frames on the roll dodge because they start like right at the beginning of the animation. I have best success when I do the input just before I’m about to be hit

I wonder if going attack surge would be worth it just for the stronger explosions too... I know it's a bit of toss up with normal attacks due to the lower affinity, but the explosions can't crit. Have you tried it out?
@@Deaga I think it's a valid set with the dragonheart skill. But I don't know if is a good match-up with Val, maybe with Magnamalo or other monsters that suffers from ZSD spam a lot.
@@Deaga For HZI you mean the SWB? Yeah pretty handy for this fight! For the Rampage SA with Attack Surge, I got very good results when I was running Kush (and at that time it was 10 less raw) so it's very good! But only on matchups where you can literally just spam ZSD + SWB (like Kush) so I don't think is good for Valstrax
@@Benjiboi HZI is hotitzone independent, so ZSD and SWB. But I messed there, I should've mentioned we just have stuff that doesn't crit and therefore doesn't care about affinity. So that also includes the amped ticks
@@Deaga Oh now I got that sensei! Anyway, even taking in account the amped ticks I think a full raw rampage Switch Axe will shine only on matchups where you can spam ZSD + SWB imho.
