For anyone who doesn’t like PVP you can still get the Trophies for 450 gear without actually fighting players. With warmode on quests in the zone and even disturbed dirt give quest credit
@@stephanneokleous6048 you upgrade the veteran gear you get from LFR. Once you get I think 5/8 upgrades it unlocks the normal transmog. was that way last season aswell- same with normal upgraded can get heroic mog, and heroic upgraded can unlock mythic mog etc
@@stephanneokleous6048 once you get your LFR gear to 5/8 upgrade level it will change into normal gear (transmog) so you can get normal set also, ofcourse if you run normal raid you will get better ilvl gear and when you upgrade that to 5/8 it will then become heroic transmog
I somewhat agree. I like that there’s something to sink your teeth into with crafting, but it needs to be easier to understand at a glance. And I think there needs to be an easier way to level your skill outside work orders. I want them to rework the system to be easier to understand, but I enjoy the depth available
It's not thatt hard but kinda annoying because your "talent points" matter and un refundable. If you could get all the trees filled out with catchup, or if there wasn't a player expectation of +5 of all gear, it'd be a lot more chill

fun thing , i stocked various 402 ilvl token gears prepatch for futur alts . they all became 415 since new patch. the 385 ilvl token gears from forbidden reach i stocked are still at 385. its the first time i see an upgrade in already purchased token gears.
I think the new upgrade system and item "tracks" are a fantastic addition to the game. Now it's much easier for solo players to reach their endgame ilvl without having to spam LFR over and over.

I am grinding the Dream stuff on my warr alt with half low level mage tower gear. You don’t need the gear, gear doesn’t need a convoluted “upgrade” system. It’s obnoxious for gamers, your life was plenty fine in solo without this trash.
Might be worth mentioning to save your catalyst revival charge until you get your hands on your first piece of tier gear. would be a shame to upgrade some armor into tier just to have that same tier piece drop for you while you're doing content :(

If I just came back to WoW and started with a fresh lvl 70 now, could I just grind heroic dungeons until my item lvl is high enough for M+ dungeons, or do I _have_ to do weekly quests and world boss content. I prefer group content all the way, more fun and learn more by playing with others.
I actually did the Raid. First time Ive done a raid, I don't use mods at all so I was worried Id be kicked but honestly I had a great time and could easily see what the mechanics were. As a Survival Hunter and Augmentation Evoker I did pretty well, sadly I did not get anything despite rolling, so this comes to my question am I still locked out of gear for the week now that I have done the raid or can I go in until I get a piece of gear like FFXIV and then Ill get locked out?
Yup whenever you participate in killing a boss you are locked from rolling for gear on that boss until next Tuesday, you can go on to do other difficulties of the raid for chances of gear however.
Rewards from raids are weekly. Even if you go back to old raids to farm gear for transmog or mounts or anything else, as soon as you kill the boss, that boss is locked out for the week. Type “/raidinfo” to see which raids AND what bosses you’ve completed for the week.

That weekly quest seems to have disappeared from the NPC. Not sure if it will come back since now Heroic Dungeons provide credit towards the Great Vault reward. You can do a Mythic +2 Dungeon to get a random piece of Champion Gear from the Great Vault.
Is there a way to get more Catalyst charges? Or is there a way to get them back after creating a Tier Set Gear? I'm asking to know if it's worth to transform a Veteran piece of gear (with a ilvl cap of 463) into a Tier Set. I'd like to have some tier set pieces while I grind the higher ilvl pieces, but I'm afraid I won't be able to get higher ilvl Tier Sets later since I used the Catalyst charges on lower ilvl and now I'm bound to lower ilvl Tier Set. Any info is appreciated :)
No, catalysts charges are permanently gone once you use them and there is no way of getting them back. Whether or not something is worth it depends on you and what you plan on doing later in the season, basically.
as a returning player for 10.2.5 the amount of currencies is absolutely ridiculous, it feels more like a free to play game that is actively trying to confuse players in order to sell micro-transactions than a sub-based mmo, I like that it lets people gear up from doing content other than mythic+ or raids but there is better ways of doing it than including so many currencies people need a 20 min video to decipher them

Of course, but certain things, like crafting embellishments (they give little effects like a chance to deal shadowflame damage or whatnot), are not obtainable through those. But everything else will pretty much.
How many new Splinters can we acquire per week? If I do the Worthy Ally with Dream Wardes and get 1 Splinter, then go to Vault and buy another one with my Tokens of Merit, is this safe to assume that I can basically craft 1 piece of gear per week? 1 splinter per week, I believe you can only buy splinters from the weekly vault vendor if you are behind the current pace of splinters (if you miss a week)

I think my understanding is that you either get the splinter from a worthy ally or the pvp quest. So if u don't like doing pvp then a worthy ally is the way to go. I think only one of those quests will give a splinter whichever one you do first during the week. I think if u r behind on ur sparks then you can get more than one splinter a week but once you are caught up then it's one splinter per week max.
Keep in mind it is probably better to save your catalyst charges until next week's vault. Reason being you will have 2 charges of the catalyst and also 2 pieces of gear from the vault, which can be tier gear. So you can convert 2 with the catalyst and get two with the vault u have your 4 set
Can a Leatherworker (for example) now make all gear items at 463 using sparks and equip them, or is there a restriction on how many crafted items the character can wear in this season?
On the same character if you have a better ilvl piece in that same slots you only need a reduced amount of flight stones, not crests. On alts you need less flight stones but still need crests.
Hopefully someone can answer this, since PVP gear is so high in PVP, is regular content gear always inferior to conquest/bloody strife gear? Should I just shoot for full conquest + those weekly strife pieces?

Hope someone sees this but I’d really like to get into mythic raiding but I don’t have a guild. Have done raids in several other games but can’t find a guild that does mythic raids
I hate having alts but if you only have 1 character you hit a huge wall where you got nothing to do to gear up unless you just live in mythic + or pvp. If you do all the quests, world quests, and the raid you’re just left with stuff that gets you no character progression or your hard stuck in 2 of the 3 pillars. Its already sad enough that the main campaign from season 1-3 can be completed in 20 hours and they drip feed it to you over a years time. I quit in season 1 and just returned 3 days ago and now I’m just trying to kill farak, and get gear. Already got bis weapons just need to upgrade them by 1 of 2 pillars. Those are the only things that drop flight stones after all dailies and weeklies are completed.
anyone have a recomendation for alt gearing (like more than 20) - mine are stuck around 400... i can multibox 2 accounts for TimeRifts, but other than that, i probebly can TW for gear !
I still don’t like how they gatekeep armor behind M+ dungeons. I was there when it was first introduced during Legion and it was fun, but sooner than later we got the sweaties who wanna run even M+ 0 at a certain time with as many as few deaths as possible and they strictly look for certain classes. So if your main class is not on the rotation of “broken” for that season you’re out of luck and this feels frustrating because we get locked away and can’t enjoy the expansion or the gear it has to offer.
Let’s not fair is the gearing system you have to join a clan so you can get better gear than everyone else they should drop in the story automatically just as in the clan all the same
Your answer is always raid and do M+. No gearing path for casuals as usual. Hopefully the game continues to bleep subs. There isn’t anything here for non-elite players.
This is so complicated! I miss the days where gear dropped from bosses and to get a specific peice you just had to farm that boss. I hope that they go back to this system one day and we can use followers (AI) to farm the dungeons. It would be cool if we had to also gear the followers in order to farm higher item level gear. Hopefully they will get away from this time gated overly complicated system.

If your a solo player you don’t need high level gear though. The only reason you need good gear is to clear group content.

Current tier set is time gated per week, last season is not you can upgrade any explorer gear to aberrus tier set

Can wear as many crafted items that you have sparks for. Other than crafted items that have embellishments, those you can only wear 2

I heard him mention the Fstone discount for upgrading lower ilvl gear in the same spot. Is it still the same with the no-crest requried?

Hopefully someone can answer this, since PVP gear is so high in PVP, is regular content gear always inferior to conquest/bloody strife gear? Should I just shoot for full conquest + those weekly strife pieces?
Yea go full pvp gear. Your target should be to get full conquest gear most of the time. And upgrade those with catalyst to get set bonuses as desired
@@TheShawnMower hey i have a question, im building conquest gear and used my catalyst charges for my pvp gear now i wear all pvp gear and some of my items can be upgraded to 275+ so my question is can i do pve raid with that gear or do i have to use catalyst charges on different items again?
confused as a returning player i done the bloom event, got no gear, done the world boss, got no gear and done that flower bloom thing where you contribute seeds or w/e and once again, got no gear?

Yeah, I believe the item specifies that the crests don't count towards the cap
Hope someone sees this but I’d really like to get into mythic raiding but I don’t have a guild. Have done raids in several other games but can’t find a guild that does mythic raids
if you don't raid in heroic or mythic ten you are stuck at 476 or 470 doesn't matter what you do

Nope
I hate having alts but if you only have 1 character you hit a huge wall where you got nothing to do to gear up unless you just live in mythic + or pvp. If you do all the quests, world quests, and the raid you’re just left with stuff that gets you no character progression or your hard stuck in 2 of the 3 pillars. Its already sad enough that the main campaign from season 1-3 can be completed in 20 hours and they drip feed it to you over a years time. I quit in season 1 and just returned 3 days ago and now I’m just trying to kill farak, and get gear. Already got bis weapons just need to upgrade them by 1 of 2 pillars. Those are the only things that drop flight stones after all dailies and weeklies are completed.

anyone have a recomendation for alt gearing (like more than 20) - mine are stuck around 400... i can multibox 2 accounts for TimeRifts, but other than that, i probebly can TW for gear !
I still don’t like how they gatekeep armor behind M+ dungeons. I was there when it was first introduced during Legion and it was fun, but sooner than later we got the sweaties who wanna run even M+ 0 at a certain time with as many as few deaths as possible and they strictly look for certain classes. So if your main class is not on the rotation of “broken” for that season you’re out of luck and this feels frustrating because we get locked away and can’t enjoy the expansion or the gear it has to offer.
I have not had these issues as a windwalker. Are these issues you have actually experienced?...or are you being hyperbolic?

Let’s not fair is the gearing system you have to join a clan so you can get better gear than everyone else they should drop in the story automatically just as in the clan all the same

Your answer is always raid and do M+. No gearing path for casuals as usual. Hopefully the game continues to bleep subs. There isn’t anything here for non-elite players.

This is so complicated! I miss the days where gear dropped from bosses and to get a specific peice you just had to farm that boss. I hope that they go back to this system one day and we can use followers (AI) to farm the dungeons. It would be cool if we had to also gear the followers in order to farm higher item level gear. Hopefully they will get away from this time gated overly complicated system.
