- Installing a blow off valve adapter from GSTP Autoparts on my 2.7 turbo max GMC Sierra Single Cab Standard bed. The sound difference is really cool to see!

No one gunna comment on the “took two hours to take this out “ proceeds to show three bolts . The irony is how true this shit can be . It’s always the “this will take 15 mins tops” followed by 3 hours and 2 trips to the part store 😂😂😂
It was easy enough to do myself but those 3 bolts were hard to get to. Also the fact the stupid air intake was a mf to take off 😂😂
@@leppofficial yea just giving you shit haha anyone that’s worked on anything with any sort of plan knows the pain
Hahahah
finally a decent video of this
Very nice. Might be putting one of these on mine.👌🏼👍🏼
Nice truck
I had a 2000 chevy wt with the 4.3 . I got it brand new. It was about $20,000 out the door. I was age 19 when i got it payments were $273. But it was very plain no power windows or locks. Very plain exterior. And i was never happy not having a v8. At that time it was possible to get a v8 and it has more features it would be an ls. But they were almost $30k out of the question back then. I sold it and i regret not keeping it even as a v6
In México a brand new 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 4.3 manual trans no A/C had a retail of $160,000.00 pesos, aprox 16,000.00 dollars. My Dad bought one back then. Very smooth ride like a 4 doors car, good torque, reliable 4.3 Vortec, precise manual transmission. You didn't miss all the fancy and luxury stupid features nowdays.
I bought my 02 Silverado ext cab WT with 4.8 liter V8 for 24k back then, I still own it, has 117k miles on it! It’s still dent rust free! I just bought a Colorado Trail Boss 41k and payed it off by doing Lyft with my Corolla , these will be my last trucks! I love them both
are you going to upgrade the cluster for a newer one
I have the exact same truck color and all I just bought. Going to tune it but the BOV sounds sweet. What size tires are they? Looks nice. Is that a 4x4?
Compa lepp🙏🏼🔥
sounds good
how does this affect efficiency and power?
A lot of work Damn. But at the end it was worth it. Sounds good mate.
I'd beat the 2.7 cold out an just grab ah 5.3 for it
@@edwardboyer7102you’ll be surprised what those 2.7s can do
Just bought it I’ll let you know how it sounds with my afe intake and Apollo cat back exhaust
Can you tell me the details so I can order for mine? Thanks
Sounds like fast and furious… do an LS swap next bro
It’s cheaper than buying the v8 from Mexico plus you get more ho
I installed one on my 2020. Had it over a year now and it’s nice but you can’t hear it when reved on park Idkw.
Did you ended up finding out what was wrong ?
@@omarvillanueva5286 no, but it does spool every time i let off the gas. i just don’t know how people spool it when parked
I have a 2024 GMC sierra 1500 2.7 4L crew cab, what do you think anything would happen to it, or even maybe even fit
Yes, install it
It so worth it
Sound way better than loud ass v8
So it’s just for sound? No performance improvements?
A BOV venting to atmosphere is 0% for performance. Literally only does something when you come off the throttle. High HP applications might need an upgrade simply to HOLD more boost.
Quick question bro will it pass smog or not cause I’m thinking of getting it for my 2.7 as well
There is no check engine light so it should be cool. It’s all the way below the engine block and it’s hidden pretty well. The part is small enough I don’t think it will be seen unless you get checked by a state referee. Plus if you get black it blends in with everything else. Worst case scenario just remove 3 screws if you don’t pass haha
@@leppofficiali did it on mine and I don’t know why computer pop check engine light on life if turbo were failing by any chance you have an idea why ??
Has your check engine light came on since adding the blow off valve?
Nope zero issue so far.
@@jickccjkgas mileage change?
Will a blow off valve hurt the engine in anyway over time? I want to install a blow off valve in my 2.7 but i dont want to damage anything.
I don’t believe so…. Really only just added a cool sound to the turbo. My engine light didn’t come on or anything. But I will update you here if anything happens.
@@leppofficial any update? What about oil loss? I heard in another video the individual added this and noticed oil spraying out of it all over his engine bay. All I can think is he has a bad seal somewhere with that much loss.
How is it holding up?
Really well I love it
Hey, some people are saying the 2.7 burns about a quart of oil between changes, does yours burn any oil?
That's the 3.0
@@trevorfarlette9996 yes the 3.0 had that problem, but many 2.7 owners are reporting around a quart of oil consumption between oil changes at low miles.
Yes, I burn right around 1qt between changes. I keep a 5 qt jug in the back of the truck.
I’m not so sure I just hit the 20% of oil life remaining and I am about to do my first oil change soon. I will update you 👍🏼
Bro donde lo compraste ?
En Motor City Buick en Bakersfield, CA
Added this to my truck and now when I rev it the whole truck turns off. I had to take it off. But sounded good with the BOV.
Dang 😳😳 I haven’t had any issues with it 🙏🏼
You most likely installed it incorrectly. If the car senses too much air it will shut off. This is nothing but an adapter.
Did you turn off your air filter life duration? I’ve read you need to reset air filter to 100% and then disable the feature. All done in the menu (mine was in the center gauge menu) not the radio menu. Just a thought.
el 4 cylinder si quemar cuh
Si quema indeed
🔥🔥🔥🤌🏽
LoL... Uhhhh.... Why?
I'm sure a new FnF movie is coming out soon.
Rediculous
