if you add 2 drinking straws on the 4 holes for the wheels from the inside of the bottle the car runs faster and you can put some kinda of oil from inside the straws so to eliminate friction with the sticks

Once I used longer elastics, there was less tension on the propellor/fan which made it spin faster, allowing the vehicle to speed away! It was loose enough before spinning the propellor that I could do 70 full rotations of the propellor before letting it go. Hope this helps you like it helped me.
