The pneumatic sound of the barrel portions extending is unnecessary. A harder noise like a “Shak, Shak” to punctuate the stages hitting their max length would sell the imminent danger better.
Right now it sounds more like what you would hear if the gun’s action were being demonstrated in a sterile environment.

Good sound for the bits combining, beam deflection sounds too weak, blasting sound is too monotone imo. Lacks the powerful feeling portrait by the animation
