Photoshop manipulation digital art tutorial | How to make a shadow monster

Shadow monster.
For this artwork I decided to create a tutorial of an older design which I created back 2018. Please note: this is a replica of the original design which can be found on my website and other social media platforms. The whole purpose for this artwork was create an anonymous creature lurking above cloudy skies over an empty ocean. For this piece, a group of friends and I went down to Brighton beach in Melbourne on a cloudy day where we captured a range of photographs to achieve the final outcome. This included a photo of my friend facing towards the ocean, an image of the water and finally the silhouette behind a frosted window. For those wondering on how I was I created the shadow monster image, please me know down in the comments if you would be like to see a walk-through of this in the future.
