Speaking as a 10 yr vet be prepared when you make it to your unit as a new officer. Piece of good advice if your troops are working so are you, if your troops are awake so are you. 2ndly always look after the troops under your command that and thier families. Also be willing to learn from the troops under your command they have more field and deployment experience than what you have. You follow that advice and you'll do fine.
LMAO I find this very funny as a Infantry Veteran. Because when I was in the CF infantry school my course leader/2Lt that was still in training wearing the same Infantry cap badge as us and not the 1RCR badge. He said he failed one question on his officers exam. The question he failed and same one he asked all of us and we failed. It comes down to this! On a mission everyone is tired and sleep deprived. Do you let your troops sleep for 4 hours or do you let yourself get sleep! My 2Lt said troops WRONG! The Officer needs sleep!!!!! The Officer is the brains of the Operation if he is sleep derived he won't be thinking clearly! Which will get Infantry men killed!

Example if your platoon is late showing up somewhere (even by a minute) they can take it away for an entire week depending on how strict the instructors are. On the weekends after week 4 you are allowed to use it from friday at 9pm to sunday at 9pm. Trust me you will be so busy you will not have time to touch your phone anyways

I’m currently studying for my Aptitude test, You’re videos have really helped me prepare for everything. I was wondering if you have any tips for the aptitude test.
I HIGHLY suggest working on long division and multiplication by hand. I was told (at the recruiting centre after failing my test) to practice using the CFAT trainer app as well, it's free and very helpful. Number one reason people fail the first time is the problem-solving section/math but it is also the easiest to improve on, so long as you put in the work. Good luck!

I am unsure about the specific grading system for the CFAT, but yes you need good scores for any job and the highest for jobs like pilot, engineer, or intelligence. And when it comes to training, it's a mix of live rounds, blanks, and electronic simulators. Also, non combat trades probably don't need to train with ammo as much right?

I believe that you can't be bankrupt. Debt is an obvious thing that adults have so you just need to get your finances in order and make sure you are able to make your payments on time.

Purely luck. With the amount of new people being rotated in and out every week, these decisions are made ahead of time. Organizing a thousand candidates at any given time need lots of preplanning. However I am not aware of Officer Cadets living in Green sector, but I have seen Private Recruits in Blue Sector.
I got enrollment offer but I can not make it because of my current circumstances, If decline the offer would I ever get offer again? MCC told me I can put you for another date and he also said no guarantee not sure

Once you are off "indoctrination" you can leave on weekends. That was never really shown. You have to buy everything yourself, even the haircuts. No more bayonet training. The actual weight lifting PT happened only twice over the 13 weeks, so what is shown in that show is a bit misleading.
If you have seen all of my videos on the Forces and still have a question than shoot. Know that I have not completed all of my training yet and therefore only have so much advice I can offer.

The other is dark brown and light tan coloured that have a zipper going down the side, i'm told (i had the other kind) that they are comfortable and the zipper is nice for quickly putting on but that the toes often blow out completely and on ruk marches they have poor heal support - my fireteam partner got bad ankle problems from these boots.

Honestly just diet. Make sure you eat everything with protein given to you and buy those pre-made protein shakes from the canex when you can. Prison style workouts in your quarters help too.

Deductions include rations and quarters (food and rent), meaning they take away like 150 a month for your room and like 400 for your meals. You are required to purchase many materials as well at the beginning, so make sure to have all of your finances in order before you leave.
So on bmq or bmoq do you get days off like sundays for example or do you train everyday. And will the instructors go tough on you if they know you were a cadet before cause I heard that but I don't know if that's true or not.

@@yasarhassan5803 If you are talking about a college diploma (2-3 year programs), then it would probably not qualify as a potential officer candidate. If you are talking about those new college degrees (4 year programs) then I don't know. Though you may not qualify as an Officer, you can definitely apply for NCM (Non- Commissioned Member). Also, it depends on what you trade you are applying for within the CAF. If you want a definite answer, contact your nearest recruiting centre.

Got the top markmanship in my fucking BMOQ and lived in shitty tent.
Why are you the only one with a hair cut? Are they not mandatory anymore during bmq/Bmoq?
Shaved head was no longer required for Mod 2, it simply had to be a regulation haircut. I still however shaved my own head.

What’s the difference between BMQ & BMOQ? Do Reservist attend either ?
BMOQ is for Officers. BMQ is for Non-Commissioned. Yes reservists also do it, just with their home unit and in a much shorter amount of time.
