  • Mazda 3 came in with a heavily blocked dpf and all conditions were exceeded not allowing a forced regen (something I don't do). the vehicle should be able to regen it's self and this vehicle is not suited to the customers driving as the do short journeys daily and not allowing the engine to get up to normal operating temperature. during this process I used the launch dpf gun and cleaning solution and as you can see in the video worked with great success getting the vehicle from over 250mbar at tick over down to a healthy 5.6mbar. once the conditions were low enough I reset all the adaptions for the dpf all lights went out and the car now drives as it should.

Hi Baz, does your launch DPF gun overrun when you release the trigger for a couple of seconds, don’t know if this is standard or mine is broken.
It’s a bit shady when the hose blows off on a badly blocked one and it keeps on squirting everywhere, definitely going to have to put some goggles on.
