The door of habitat 2 is on the other side to help disguise the fact that there are only 3 buildings in the game, with the same rooms in each, and each room contains 1 consumable or blueprint, more or less.
I wonder if you could build the full two cabins in the initial station, using the materials that the drone brings you? Also, I think you mixed ceilings and floors to make your roof.
Yes, it will just keep bringing you things for forever, slowly but surely, and you can craft them into more complicated things in the station. I don't think you could build two of everything, but certainly things like walls and chests infinite as a result.

More like void train. Snowpiecer delt with colony management and food supply (bug protean anybody) while this game lets you survive on energy drinks [and an energy bar] alone.
The only thing that makes this game bad is the weighted inventory system. Not only does it limit your inventory space, but it also gives you an uneven number, in order to get a real full inventory.
It's so you don't stack too many items mixed disproportionately. Personally I think they should have gone max spaces, but that's what storage boxes and buildings are for.
This looked really fun so I grabbed the demo. I have been enjoying playing and I wanted to see how many materials the bot would get so I went climbing around the hills I am glad I did I found a grave some soup and health kits.

I believe Z left some material in one of the buildings where the Scrap Bot was working. He should probably drop all his inventory at the Train Station, go back to the building up the hill (make sure power is good), check the crates in the buildings and retrieve equipment, and re-check the other buildings. Centralize storage in the Train Station...

It's a decent concept for a game, but thats all we have so far. You can build a few things, craft a very few things, and drive rhrough a threadbare story literally on rails. There are storms to avoid.and that's it. No combat yet, no real story, just a sizeable almost entirely empty map to run around in. Really struggling to figure out the hype.
I'm not trying to be unfair to the devs - they called it a demo and it very much is. It's just a very small demo. You played it all. There are a couple of very minor mysteries/puzzles to solve. Infinite resources with no enemy but the weather, and you can avoid the weather by waiting inside.w
But Z1, you missed so much stuff at the first station! Lore, items and tech! When not in danger, scavenge! Hope you redesign your train, making it easier to operate and go around inside. Other than that, good first taste and I hope you find more of the lore!
If you're going to spoil (and this is not the first time a content creator missed things at the Heat Death beginning station,) you might want to note where they are specifically due to no map, uniform appearance and dual doors per habitat making where yo have gone only visible by opened room doors apparent. (I decided due to Scrappy for this game not to spoil anything and let the streamers play as they wish unless explicitly asking for help.)
@@joshuacr Since this is a reply, I'll add some spoilers for the beginning station. So here will be spoilers, forewarned. There are at least 3 spots that Z1 missed, by a lot. 1. From the start tunnel, to the left there are a wide V shaped crack that you need to jump up the V arms so to speak and you'll find a crashed bot with loot and lore. 2. Same start point, to the right along the right side rock wall there are a low hill into an area where there are loot and lore. 3. Next to entrance of 2 there are another one further along the right side rock wall, with at least loot and lore, but I think this one had a tech point too. Note: this is from memory, I played through the demo 15/12 in 3,5 hours. The rest are quite obvious, but can be easily missed if you're not looking. There are several places that looks accessible, but have the invisible wall when trying to access them. Following the bots gives just a fraction of the possible loot and lore you can gain.
this reminded me of zelda' spirit tracks, more so than choo choo charlie. all the magic stuff could be sci fi elements instead. I think you should have checked the bins in the habitats.
I like watching you, your playthrough of Breathedge is what brought you go my attention. But i have to ask, why are there no windows on the front of your train. What if there was something on the tracks?

It have some interesting elements, but overall mediocre for me. Also seems slapped together, ideas from several games. If not, see the series Snowpiercer, that could have been a much better concept, a train that do not stop. Combine with Raft and some other games, a way to "hook" resources along the track.
@@joshuacr yea I suppose your right in that regard. I mean I’ve seen other games where you guys wake up as a group collectively confused with what’s happening. May be a poor example but sons of the forest is similar when you and friends spawn in together.

Is it me or is there a disconnect between the room size and the furniture size? Almost every room is spacious as an aircraft hangar, but with only three or four pieces of furniture each. Sparse, I guess is the word? Desolate?
